Dr. Betteker is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Loyola University. He has been affiliated with veterinary medicine for almost twenty years. His customer service philosophy is based upon principals of service excellence and patient advocacy. Dr. Betteker is a family man who has been married to his college sweetheart for 25 years, and he is the proud father of two beautiful girls.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.

Chateau Animal Hospital is located right past Sherwin Williams and a Cleaners in a free standing building. Our clinic borders Hall, Gwinnett, Jackson, and Barrow counties. From I-85 N travel to Exit 126. Veer right off the interstate and take the first left on Hwy 211. Follow the signs to Chateau Elan Winery and Resort.

There was a very sick cat in my subdivision. I sometimes work with some animal rescues and put out several calls and I was told that I would have to pay the vet. I took the car here and the doctor came right out and took the cat back for care. I was not charged and unfortunately the cat had to be euthanized. I think the vet there was absolutely wonderful to help stop this cats pain. Wanted to thank them for actually caring about the animals brought in there and for such an immediate response

We had the misfortune of having to put down our 19 year old pupper. She had gotten too sick. The staff at Chateau Animal Hospital were all very empathetic and accommodating. The doctor and a nurse came in and told us what to expect, asked us if we were ready and then helped take off the little shirt Dinky was wearing when we couldn't. They allowed us all the time we needed afterwords. I'm very thankful for how courteous they were. But I hope to never go through that again (even though I likely will as I still have animals at home).

We moved to the area recently and loved our old veterinarian so we were nervous about finding a new one. Chose this place due to the hundreds of positive reviews so I felt the need to contribute mine as well! We have been here twice already for 2 separate issues and have had excellent experiences both times. The front desk and vet techs are so friendly and helpful. We have had no issues getting an appointment pretty quickly even for non emergent reasons. They are open 7 days a week which is always helpful. Dr. Betteker was thorough and kind. The cost was much less expensive than our old vet and
