I would give more than five stars if i could. they saved my stray cat!!! a cat i had taken in had become really ill (vomiting blood and vomiting an outrageous amount of food). initially we thought it was one of our indoor cats (3 indoor and 2 strays outside that i am trying to transition indoors to find homes for) so i took my indoor cat there because she had regular foamy puke so i had assumed it was her and took her in. hours later my stray cat was inside and he has been lethargic but he had a little cold so i didn't think anything of it. well, he started vomiting blood again so i went

My Cleo Cat threw up so much a few weeks ago that a crisis situation developed. I called the hospital and they had me bring him right in. They knew what to do and they literally saved Cleo’s life. He is an old cat, around 18 years old so just the tiniest thing could become a big deal for him. He was approaching organ failure. So my wife and I now infuse Cleo twice a week with lactated ringers. I know they love Cleo there and I never have any fear they are not doing the best for him. He is our child.

The team at CMAH has taken care of our pets for about 10 years. Dr DeLong and Dr Haynes have extensive knowledge and a big hearts for the furbabies in their care. The entire staff shows remarkable care and kindness. Prices are fair and are discussed upfront to help you make the best decisions.

Couldn't be happier with Dr. DeLong and his staff. When. My husband and I moved from Alaska to GA we needed a vet to care for our 4 legged baby Copper. They don't disappoint and are very reasonably priced.

The staff and doctors were so caring when we had to make the difficult decision to put our 12 year old cat to sleep. They gave us all of our treatment options, were up front about the costs, gave us a realistic prognosis, gave us as much time as we needed to make decisions and offered us support afterward. They even sent us a condolence card with handwritten notes inside from all of the staff. The love and care they provide to us and our pets are always top notch.

I moved to the Gainesville area less than a year ago and this office was less than 20 minutes away. I've been to 4 different Vet offices since I've been here and this is definitely my pick. My little baby hurt his paw and I wanted to have it looked at asap before it would get worse. Chestnut Mountain was able to get us in right away, the paperwork was simple, and the staff was willing to have his shot records transferred over, for me, since I forgot them. The office is spacious, modern, and clean. A staff member greeted me at the door and took us back almost immediately. The doctor was kinda young

Best Vet in Hall County and Surrounding Area! I needed a last minute appointment for my 4 year old Yorkie who needed to be seen as soon as possible for a new underlying condition and they were able to fit me in immediately. The receptionist, medical staff, and physician were all wonderful. Very personable and knowledgeable. I even received a call from them 24 Hours later to check to see how my Yorkie was doing. A+++

They fired me as a client after I defended myself to the manager who texted me, telling me to “stop being rude to his employees.” regardless if I was rude, does he call every customer and tell them to stop being rude? Not to mention I was only questioning the women who told me they didn’t even carry the product that the manager told me the day… before they had. Also said they don’t hold things for clients and it’s first come first serve. Which is an absolute lie. They are extremely shady and didn’t even have the Decency to call me they had to send it on

I love the staff at Chestnut Mountain Animal Hospital and have been a client for 6 amazing years! The staff are always professional and yet we feel like family because staff are intentional in getting to know each pet and owner on a personal level. Every time we "visit" we feel as if we are their most important and most loved client and my pup loves going to see her "friends." When my dog had more serious health issues they were quick to refer me to a higher level facility and continued to phone and email me throughout the illness and were diligent in coordinating care with the higher level clinic

Do not, do not, do not go to Chestnut Mountain animal Hospital! We have used this veterinarian for over 10 years. We have two dogs that use their services and grooming. Their groomer has stopped working due to the coronavirus concerns. We had to go to another groomer and needed our dogs rabies shot updated. I called yesterday and told the receptionist that all I wanted was the rabies shots. We could not afford the rest of the physical and that we would do that at a later time. She informed me that I would still need the annual exam to get the rabies shot. The exam was $38 and a one-year rabies
