Since 2009, we've been fortunate to be featured in many noted wedding blogs, and print magazines. Our packages start with The Bride, the VIP! Our lead artist typically work on Bride + 2 services, and we can add bridal party members/family members services that are performed by our team of expert associates. Hire us for the bride, or hire us for the bride + bridal party, we have a package that will meet your needs!
We provide do & go (also known as "Half-Day") or "Full Day" services where we follow for touch-ups and provide any look changes for your important portraits, events and special occasions. Do you travel on-site? Yes we travel! The consultation appointment is usually held in-studio in Mountain View, CA but on the day-of, we usually go to the client's location whether it's their home/apartment, hotel suite, or the suite at the venue. There have been instances where clients preferred to get ready at our studio due to lighting or venue rental hour limitations, but we usually travel to the client's location!

I could not say enough good things about Skyla Arts, Jerilyn and Liz. They were a dream to work with for our wedding. With so many decisions to make for your wedding day they were one of the best ones. We had a destination wedding so Liz and I communicated by phone/email on everything until the week of the wedding. Liz is an absolute treasure! She's super detail oriented, patient and kind. We had two different hair and makeup looks to do for two ceremonies (Indian in the morning, American in the evening), and she created two beautiful, distinct, classic looks for each. She also stayed calm and collected the whole day. She's an absolute master at recreating hairstyles and makeup looks from pictures, and she really listens to you and incorporates your thoughts into her work. My wedding makeup was done by Angela at Skyla Arts. What a great experience! I was going to DIY my hair and makeup, but it was so worth it to not have to worry about it. I got so many compliments. It was relaxing, easy, and fun. Consultation was easy, she listened very closely to what I was looking for. My partner and I were married this weekend, hair and make up was done by Angela of Skyla Arts for myself and my younger sister (maid of honor). Elizabeth did my hair and make-up for my 30th birthday party about a week ago. She did an amazing job. She's super sweet and chatty! She took her time and made sure I was comfortable with all of her work. In the end I looked amazing and got many compliments that night. Recently I just had a wedding and was privileged to have Liz and her team be in charge of my moms' as well as my hair and makeup. Liz did an AMAZING job. When people saw me on that day, they all aspired for taking photos with me. I looked amazing in the photos---I don't normally do, but with the makeup on, I looked superb --- and the moms looked amazing in them. Liz did hair & makeup for three consecutive events we hosted in the winter. She was warm, professional, very knowledgable and did incredible hair & makeup! I was referred to Liz by one of her colleagues who was going to be out of the country for the date that I had wanted to get my hair and makeup done. Liz and I emailed back and forth about what style of hair I was looking for, and also sent me a skin and hair questionnaire so she could prepare to get to know my skin and hair type, which I thought was fantastic. Her online portfolio was great so that was another plus, so I decided to book her for a wedding I was attending on February 16, 2013. Liz is am amazing makeup artist. I love that she not only does weddings she does work for magazines and photo shoots. Her website is what made me try her out and I'm glad I did. I was blown away by how organized she is, she always asks all the right questions to make sure the look is suitable for your style/event. She always arrives early to set up her never-ending supply of brushes, blushes and eyeshadows. She even mixes colors to create the perfect shade of lipstick. I have hired her for a few different events now and my friends and I always look amazing. I wish I could do my own makeup

On the service side, she was always ready on time, polite, and friendly, even after the job was complete. As for her technical skill, I typically don't wear a lot of makeup so I wouldn't be able to comment on technique, but I have a fairly critical eye and can be picky about how things look at the end. The day of my shoot, we dropped to 1 star. How? Liz's way of creating conversation started off as uncomfortable and crossed over to unprofessional. For the uncomfortable part, it started with some preachy things about beauty products. That's ok--I can take a little of that since I could take better care of my skin

Elizabeth is amazing makeup artist and person. She is very professional. Liz did a boudoir session (makeup, hair & photography) for me. I felt myself like a celebrity.
