Berkshire Hills
Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp is a co-ed Jewish Sleepaway camp for children and teens ages 7-16. While our program is designed to reflect Jewish values, we welcome all children to camp and believe that the values we teach - respect, giving back, community, and charity - benefit everyone. Set in the beautiful Berkshires, our camp provides an idyllic setting for your child's summer of growth and fun.

At Berkshire Hills, your child will find a strong community of friends, be supported by loyal and deeply committed staff, try fun and challenging activities, and become more independent. Whether you are looking for a two week session or a full summer experience, Berkshire Hills has options to fit every family's summer schedule.
Services
It is hard to believe but 90 years ago the Bronx House Parent's Association with $400 and great spirit launched the camp that children and families still enjoy today. If you are one of the thousands of people who grew up on the shores of Miller Pond in Copake, NY, welcome home! Some of you attended camp when it was called Bronx House while others have always known us as Berkshire Hills.
I hope your child will join our community and add to the spirit that has been growing on the shores of Miller Pond since 1931. Berkshire Hills campers love camp because of the fun they have and the close friendships they develop. I love camp because we build a values-based community every summer where all children can be themselves, learn from our staff and each other, and challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
At Berkshire Hills, we teach culinary skills while building a strong positive community. After a summer at camp, your child will come home more confident in the kitchen, more independent and connected to a completely new group of friends. Berkshire Hills Culinary campers spend half the day building culinary competence with friends in our state-of-the-art kitchens.
Located on six hundred and forty pristine acres with a private lake, Berkshire Hills is a beautiful spot for your retreat, wedding, temple, church or school group or other type of event. Berkshire Hills offers both motel and dormitory style sleeping rooms that can house over five hundred guests. In the heart of the Berkshires, we are conveniently located one hundred miles from New York City and one hundred and sixty miles from Boston.
If you are looking for a summer of fun that revolves around creating a terrific summer for others, Berkshire Hills is the place for you. Our dynamic staff gives children a fantastic summer experiences. As a member of the Berkshire Hills team, you will work side by side with a diverse group of staff.

The one star is not an indication for good or bad in fact I'm not currently seeing any type of merit or leverage for one star versus five stars. One star simply because no one else has applied one star.
I drove a person here because currently I drive with Lyft and I'm thankful for the ride because I was able to learn about the Biblical principle of discord and the principle of unity from the brief conversational intelligence.
I extend gratitude for the few dollars I'm able to earn and the few moments which I'm able to learn.
Jesus is Lord praise him!

The Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp is a beautiful place for a retreat. Nestled in the mountains on a beautiful lake, there are spaces to play, nice cabins to sleep in and spacious indoor and outdoor places for study. I love to be there.

Seth, Adam, Jenn and the entire staff at Berkshire were awesome when our group came for a weekend retreat at the Adult vacation area. They were patient with our many questions about the Kosher regulations and super responsive as we prepared to come. It's a beautiful location and easy to get around to the various buildings.

We hoped our children would make long-term camp friends.become more independent while staying safe, have fun, and feel a connection to a larger camp community. BHEC has enabled all these things and we are quite appreciative to Adam, Seth, and the whole staff.

This was our son's first time at sleep away camp. He really enjoyed his time there. He told us he loved the food and all the different activities. For the 2 weeks he was at camp there as one scheduled call which we enjoyed. The drop off and pick up were seamless.
