Highway Trailer Sales & Service is a family owned and operated business, founded in 1973 by George and Doris Rohner. The company's original and current location started in what used to be a Texaco gas station and housed the sales, service and parts department. The whole building was approximately 900 square feet.
The old station is long gone, but the idea of giving customers personal attention in a small business atmosphere remains. The company is now owned by Roger and Terri Kirschner, George and Doris's daughter and son-in-law. Combined, they have over 39 years of experience at Highway Trailer Sales. Their philosophy is simple, and is instilled in the minds of their employees.

"BUYER BEWARE": Is what we were told as far as the $2000 7 year extended maintenance contract we purchased 5 years ago when we tried to get a leak fixed that destroyed two radios now. Make sure you read the exclusions on the extended warranty when approached with this at time of purchase. Or maybe it was the $1500 extra I paid for the Duratane seal that the sales person said would help with sealing the Camper.... BTW, I live no where close to this business anymore, Just sayN!!!!

Not great selection at this lot and I understand that the inventory is low right now but trailers on the lot were mostly all used and very dated. (At least the ones that we were shown) Even the newer ones that were used were not in the greatest condition and prices still pretty high. Sad but they only carry 4 brands of the company's that they want to deal with directly. Saul was very nice and was able to answer most of our questions. We drove over an hour to this lot and I wish we would have just gone elsewhere! I literally did not take any pics because they were so bad. I only snapped one

Always take care of our RV. Excellent customer service and their technicians are top notch. They contacted me as they went through diagnosis and repair of water heater and propane lines. Installed new TV antenna and would not let me retrieve the RV until the sealant was sealed to its entirety. Friendly and welcoming. Strict arrival and p/u times so pay attention! They do all our services on our Cougar.

We went to the RV Show at the state fairgrounds and found a trailer that we loved. By the end of the day we were putting a $1000 deposit down and signing an agreement that it would be non-refundable unless we could not get financing. After the show we went home and called our mechanic to check to see if our pickup could pull the trailer we wanted. We discovered our pickup would need a lot of work in order to be able to tow it or we would have to buy a new one. We were not financially able to buy a new one and over the course of the time since we called to tell them we could not get it because we

Really enjoyed Corey our sales person explaining and describing every detail of our potential new RV. Was a wonderful lot, full of lots of options for every price range.

My Wife and I went to “look” at a used class A rv, in September of 2020.
We went and fell in love with a 2018 Thor ACE, with less than 5000 miles.
We went through it and the sales guy said that it would be cleaned and make sure everything would be in working order, to our liking, all questions will be answered, and that we have 30 days to make sure EVERYTHING is working!

My experience was only in a service there, but whole company left good impression, everybody was friendly. Especially thanks to Dan from a service, he was great and so helpful! I tried few services before with my Dometic fridge (list companies gave me Dometic customer support) and everyone told me they don't have experience with small portable fridges, except Dan. He was understanding and did everything possible, called Dometic service to discuss frige malfunction, and finally found solution.

By far Tim at Highway Trailer Sales was the best RV salesman we encountered in our long search of our perfect RV (and we dealt with MANY). He was patient, informative and not pushy at all. Although we decided to go a different route, we would have kept our business with Tim if they did have our right fit. Plenty of great RVs at Highway, just not the one to fit our needs.
We will definitely keep Tim and Highway Trailer Sales in mind when we continue our search for our next RV in the future.

To start off I didn't even purchase my trailer from Highway Trailer Sales and when I had an issue with my hitch ball, which I didn't install 100% tight, Hwy Trailer Sales tightened it for free! They also answered some questions I had regarding some trailer tips. I ended up going through them to have some work done for my electrical adapter (4 to 7 pin) and the work was done efficiently and affordably. Kudos to Kevin for being such a great salesman. Not pushy at all, very up front with costs and what they have in stock, and he answered all of our questions too. I would recommend these

We live in Bend and have been looking for R-pod for about 18 months We looked in Bend, Redmond finally we found HIGHWAY TRAILER SALES.
Very good experience I highly recommend this place. I called first and the one who answer the phone was Tim he gives us the information we want. We drove 3 1/2 hours it was worth it. We bought our R-pod and are very happy with everything.
Tim was a very good sale man we already thought we knew what we wanted But (clever Tim suggested to look the upgrade with the slide out. He was not pushy just a suggestion we end up with the one he suggested great choice.
