Lloyd's is honest about the service they provide. They give the best options to address the issue and more than willing to provide diagnostic, and you decide if you want to repair yourself. They do quality work and are friendly people. They offer transport to work if needed and they are convenient with drop-off and pickup. I continue to use Lloyds for my auto repairs.

I brought my car in to be repaired after it developed a noticeable knocking noise when decelerating. They were able to reproduce the noise and quickly discovered the issue - the other shop I used for brake work didn't tighten my lug nuts down securely and they were coming loose on one wheel. They easily fixed that at minimal cost (new lug nut as one was missing). They were honest , warm, and welcoming. They earned my business going forward based upon this experience as well as the positive reviews from other family members who have used them. Highly recommend.

They charged me $136 for a diagnostic check for everything I had went to O'Reilly an seen on the computer. $165 reduced to turn off check engine light an print out codes for what I already knew. When I asked what all the charges were for he asked the lady behind the desk, (who originally quoted me $90 for the full service) what he was charging me for she just said we don't charge to turn off check engine light. He then gave me the receipt an codes an walked off. Could be my complexion.

Lloyd's was extremely professional, friendly, and prompt. They even provided transport for me back to my home and picked me up when my car was ready. They finished the work in 4 hours. It was much cheaper and less hassle than taking my car to the dealer for servicing.

I suspected I needed a new Thermostat. They diagnosed my problem, identified other small issues accurately and had it fixed quickly. Very professional and they did a very good job explaining everything to me. The price was reasonable for the amount of wok I had done on my cooling system. I had a very good experience with them and highly recommend them!

Matt and the crew at Lloyd's are fantastic! We have used them for many years for 4 different vehicles and they have always been friendly and professional, and as noted in other reviews always tell you about needed and upcoming issues, as well as which things you can just monitor. They have always been very accommodating in scheduling and the shuttle service is really appreciated. And most important, they also are great mechanics with honest and fair pricing. Best place I have ever had the pleasure of working with regarding my vehicle. Sure they're a little more expensive but they get it right the first time so it's worth it. They have never tried to take advantage of me in the 3 years I've been going there, they've even gotten me a rental car when the work was going to take longer than estimated which I think is really cool. Lloyd's will have my business as long as I live in the Spokane area.

I love this shop!!! Their oil changes are very affordable and they are always honest about what things may need to be fixed soon, what things need to be repaired in the future, and what is working well currently. I really appreciate that. I have had break work and sway bar work done here and was really happy. The pricing was better than I expected and they were really professional while also being personable. I highly recommend! Convenient location with full parking lot.

After reading the other reviews I have to figure that a lot of the people who complain don't tell the whole story. I've been involved in the auto repair business indirectly before. I have a good idea of what's going on. My experience with these guys has been very good. They saved me about 300 on a repair to my door handle that the dealer was going to ram me for. I can site a couple other instances also. But the reason I'm writing this review is because of a mistake they made. I had them change my oil a few days ago. Lloyd's tried to scam me and rip me off while doing it.
Took my car in, they told me it needed front struts and rear shocks replaced for ~$1500.
Took it to a 2nd mechanic, who quoted me at ~$750 for the same parts and service.
They ordered the parts for me just in case, but when I took it to them they said all my struts and shocks were nowhere near needing replacement.
Additionally, they said I'm not the first person to come from Lloyd's saying I needed struts and shocks replaced.
I highly recommend avoiding this place.

Brought my truck into to have the AC recharged. Was called 2 hours later and was told a suction hose needed to be replaced, bill would be $500+. Asked to have estimate sent to me, I looked at it and did some research and the parts and labor were marked up over 100% ($191 for part that would cost me $80 at O'reillys and $119 for labor that book time at a dealer is .5 hours). Went down to shop to have them show me the leak in the hose and was then told it wasn't the hose but in fact it is now the AC compressor and the hose was just fine. I've been taken advantage of and swindled by mechanics. It's easy for them to do to me and I almost can't blame them for trying. But Lloyd's does not try. In fact, they've been nothing if not honest, forthcoming and reasonable. I've received help and service when needed, and been advised when service has not been needed. I won't take my car anywhere else in Spokane and I recommend Lloyd's to anyone who will listen, but especially those who have had bad experiences with others. Lloyd's will change your mind about mechanics.

Bought a groupon from them for 3 oil changes.
After buying the groupon found out you could only use it on one car. It just so happened that the car I used it on broke down not long after completing the first oil change. It had sat dormant for a while until I had money to repair it. By the time I repaired it the groupon had expired by 2 weeks.
