Services
Initial evaluations with a board certified psychiatrist and include a 1 hour evaluation to start treatment. This also includes your diagnosis and any prescriptions or referrals you may need. Refill fees are only applied for refills needed in between visits. In the first year of treatment patients are usually seen 3-4 times.

Dr. Halgrimson has been fantastic. He’s a great listener, doesn’t dismiss your input, and made transitioning my healthcare to him absolutely painless.
While I am new to Telehealth, instructions are clear and easy and I have had no problems conducting appointments so far. His office was also very responsive when e-mailed. (I received a response in less than 10 minutes). Highly recommended.

I've been a patient at Psychiatry of Austin since 2018 and I would highly recommend this practice to any adult with ADHD. It's extremely difficult to find a doctor who understands this disorder, especially into adulthood. They listen to my wants and needs and offer me solutions and medications that fit those needs. They offer virtual appointments after your initial in-person consultation, which makes keeping up with my treatment so much easier. If you have ADHD, you know how much that can help when the executive dysfunction takes over. If you are thinking about resuming treatment for adult ADHD

I just moved to Austin and found Psychiatry of Austin right away online. I enrolled online and had an appointment with a great doc within a week. After working with them for over 2 months now, I am feeling right at home and back on track with my meds, my job, and my personal life. They are easy to work with, quick to respond when I need them, and always offer helpful advice. The therapy and wellness services have been a great plus as well. Highly recommended!
