Dr. Foner has been my optometrist for well over a decade and he’s phenomenal at explaining the medical science behind every aspect of vision. If you have questions or concerns, he’s the guy to go to and will give you his undivided attention during the entire explanation. He has all the cutting edge eye exam equipment and a fantastic selection of eye glasses (I recommend the Gucci frames) to boot! If you need an eye doctor, definitely check him out!

I have needed glasses for the past 25 years or so, but I haven't had anyone explain things to me throughout the eye exam as much as Dr. Marc Foner did. I found it really interesting to know what being nearsighted actually means and that an instrument allowed him to examine the cornea and what part of the eye that actually is. He also did not put any pressure on me to make a purchase, which was refreshing. The other staff were also really helpful.

I love that office! From the Doctor to the staff! so patient and courteous. A recent bad experience elsewhere, sent me right back into their arms. They promptly gave me an appointmen, Fit me in, despite mistakenly showing up earlier than scheduled. Jay or Jason( I think was he’s name) quickly matched my request and even suggested colors which turns out was exactly my cup of tea. All within my budget. Their selection has been unmatched so far. I have been going to Dr. Foner for a few years now and I can say that he is by far the best doctor that I have come across. He really cares for his patients and their individual needs. By that I mean, he takes his time with you and explains everything in great detail. He answers all your questions so you leave with clarity and confidence. After seeing An ophthalmologist, I went back to see my optometrist Dr. Foner. He spent quite a bit of time to give me a comprehensive view of my concern. He answered every question and offered very good solutions. His staff is knowledgeable and very helpful over the phone and in person. To summarize I felt I was received with care and concern and making sure I was complete about my visit upon leaving. I have been going to Dr. Foner for decades and always got the best prescription with no need to return or remake. He truly is a wonderful doctor and a very good man. I can't say enough about

This is a review of the staff at the front desk NOT Dr. Foner. The staff at the front desk are not very friendly especially Stephanie. From the moment I called the office to walking through the front door, she has been nothing but miserable and short with me. She doesn't smile and make you feel welcomed. She hung up on me and didn't even let me finish what I was saying.
Its a shame because Dr. Foner is a good eye doctor and if it wasn't for the uncomfortable and unfriendly experience with the front desk then I would return, but, I am going elsewhere.

Dr. Foner is a fantastic guy and a wonderful eye doctor. He's great at explaining everything and is genuinely interested in helping out his patients. They have an AMAZING selection of new designer frames and everyone is wicked helpful. I drive all the way from Melrose to see these guys! They're awesome!
