At Scates Construction, Inc. safety is paramount. We are investing heavily into safety training for all personnel. It is our ongoing goal to create and maintain accident free, and drug free, jobsites. All Field Superintendents are Red Cross first aid and CPR certified. All employees must attend weekly safety meetings to insure utmost protection for our customers and the employees themselves.

In our leadership role as the project's general contractor/construction manager, we are responsible for insuring that the work is consistent with plans and specifications, and is completed in a safe and timely manner with the utmost attention to quality.

I had a horrible experience working with Paul Sweeney, and I think it is important for other possible vendors/clients to consider before working with this company. He never visited the job site and put an assistant manager in charge of the original walk-through to view the site, getting access to the building, and overseeing the work performance on the day we started. Then, he became upset that I communicated with the assistant manager.
