Services
The Peking Garden was established in 1984, by Mr. & Mrs. Jay Huang. The Huang Family immigrated to the United States from Taiwan in 1976. After working in the restaurant business in Houston, New Orleans and Lake Charles, they purchased the China Garden Restaurant in 1984 and re-opened it as the Peking Garden.

The service is extremely 🐌 slow. Barely seen our waitress half the time, did not see the drink we ordered and asked twice. Pretty much only thing that was take home worthy was shrimp toast, wonton soup, egg rolls. Which shrimp toast was pretty good.. Do not
waste your time ordering anything else from menu. No salt, everything is bland, perfect place for someone who don't like salt or spice.The homemade sauces on the table were horrible no flavor. . Prices are bit high for the quality of food

Short staffed, but still the BEST service and food! We knew they were short staffed, but we still brought our party of 6 to share a great evening of fantastic food and drinks! We wanted egg rolls to go after our meal and even though the kitchen was closed (Yes we stayed until closing) they made sure that all of our guests had plenty of egg rolls!!!

We both got the Monday evening special and it was pretty tasteless and bland. It doesn't come with tea or coffee like the description states. We never got refills on our drinks even though we asked. We were both aggravated so we just wanted to leave. And when we were checking out we were there waiting and the lady came with Togo bags and checked them out in front of us. I don't know if we will be back the food just wasn't good. The only thing that was good were the egg rolls. OH and the specials can definitely be split between two people!
