These guys are amazing! I’ve been at the hotel across from Duke Hospital during an energy surgery for my dad and ran out of clean clothes. They picked up my dirty laundry, washed and folded and delivered it back by noon on the same day. Thank you SO much, Ron!

I have used Prestige Cleaners for years. I highly recommend this local business for dry cleaning and laundering. They are responsive, timely and clearly communicate. Our clothes are taken care of expertly and we appreciate their eco-friendly focus.

These People are phenomenal! I had tried them in the past but due to my location I decided to try some other dry cleaners in the area. I found that everyone else’s prices were higher, and they were not as professional and didn’t have the attention to detail that Prestige has. Also they can perform high quality service AND get your clothes back to you in a quick turnaround time. The attendant remembered my name after only a few visits. It made me feel good that day!!! Prestige dry cleaners is a five star dry cleaners! if you’re using anyone else you are missing out!

I’ve been using this place for close to a year now to keep my work dresses clean and I’m so happy with them. They’re always friendly, prices are affordable, always on time, and my clothes always look great. They even salvaged a white winter jacket I was almost too embarrassed to even bring in. Thanks!!

I use the pick-up and delivery service as well as sometimes stopping in to discuss a tricky piece. They have great customer service. I also enjoy that my clothes do not smell like chemicals when they are returned.

I tried three different dry cleaners in Durham and Prestige was by far the best. My mother even noticed that my shirts looked great. The staff are friendly and learned my name fairly quickly. Never had any issue with any of my clothes in two years of visiting.

This cleaners ruined a very expensive silk shirt and did not offer any resolution. They do not stand behind their service

I am an active duty military officer and took a pair of my Army Service Uniform pants into Prestige Green Cleaners for dry cleaning. I had taken these pants into this establishment on at least 3-4 occasions and had no issues with their service. In November 2017, after receiving my uniform pants back from their servicing, the gold braided stripe was stained with bluish ink. I asked them to redo the cleaning to get the stain out, but the stain remained. I then asked for reimbursement for these $145 pants but the owner cited a national dry cleaning authority document that stated it was not his

I have used the delivery service at Prestige for several years. The service has been completely reliable. The cleaning and laundry have always been done well. No buts, no exceptions.

I wanted to like this spot because supposedly they use less harmful chemicals to clean the clothes. Unfortunately I cannot recommend because all of my sweaters have stains (new) and holes. Every one. What good is clean clothes with holes and stains? I'll take my chances with a regular cleaner who hopefully doesn't destroy my clothes.

Do not ever give this business leather to be cleaned. They send it away to be cleaned, which is a common practice. However they do not manage their relationship with the cleaning company which they choose. Instead they act as if they have no responsibility. They are not willing to contact the company to check why something has not been returned three weeks after it was meant to be due back. They really do not care at all about their customers.

Wonderful! ZERO residual odor. I use them exclusively. My clothes are well taken care of. On the RARE occasion I have asked for a redo, the request is received with grace and ease.

-Damaged Shirts-
I recently started going to this "business" for my laundry needs since it is closer to my home. Big mistake. I first noticed one shirt damaged by a stain, then two, then three - now it up to at least five shirts damaged from either stains and/or discoloration (fading) of the shirts. These polo dress shirts vary in age from several years old to less than a month old. I have taken my shirts to various locations through the years and I have "never" had such a bad experience. If you value your clothes and your time, stay far away from this place.

I'm new to the area so was unsure about where to go to take my clothes for dry cleaning and care. I took a chance on Prestige Green Cleaners and was very impressed. For the first time every my clothes came back clean, expertly pressed, AND did not smell like toxic chemicals. All the stain spots were addressed and my sweaters were folded over the hanger rather than hung on a hanger thus stretching them out. I'll definitely be going back as the prices were fair, but not what I would consider 'cheap', then again, you get what you pay for!

I signed up for the free drop off / pick up service and it worked great. Items were picked up at my home & dropped off on the allotted day. Great, free service!

If you own nice clothing and want to keep it looking nice, don't go here. Brought in like 8 Brooks Brothers dress shirts, 5 Lacoste polo shirts and dress. I always dry cleaned my shirts in California, these exact same shirts. They still looked like new, but when I came home and started to put them away, I was SOO upset. The dress shirts were NOT clean! The polo shirts looked old and faded. Some of the darker colored shirts were most noticeable. The dress and some shirts had oil stains. Very upsetting and it sucks because they're just around the corner :/

This place must hate Kenneth Cole. Brought in my brand new freshly tailored wool Kenneth Cole peacoat for cleaning after my kid spilled milk on it. First they kept it for 5 days and gave it back not even cleaned. When I brought it back they kept it another few days and refused to honor the sign hanging in their store (done right or its free). I pick it up again and it is like these people put it in a washer and dryer. It was misshapen and not even clean after they were through destroying it. My coat was ruined. Don't go here!!!

I just dropped my clothes off about an hour ago, and I don't even have to get my clothes back to know that I will NEVER go back again.

Dry Cleaning Station is in a bit of a sketchy location, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because it was fairly well rated on Yelp and I saw somewhere that it was once voted best in Durham.

When I gave them my clothes (a suit, a few dress shirts, and a sweater), the person at the counter took them off the hangers, CRUMPLED all my clothes into a ball, shoved them into a bag, and tossed the bag into a cart. For a dry cleaner to take amy $600 Kenneth Cole

Environmentally friendly (with no chemical stench) is a huge plus! Convenience to Duke is also great.

I took off one star because their website claims they do shoe repair, and they do not. I was excited because I had a pair of shoes that needed a minor fix, and thought it would be convenient to drop them off with my dry cleaning. However, when I brought in my shoes, the clerk told me they don't do shoe repair after all. She said they have a tailor who comes in to do clothing repair and alterations, but no one that does shoes.

So, call and check if you want any of the listed services other

I'd give the Dry Cleaning Station five stars just bc my clothes don't smell like crap when I pick them up. You don't have to rip that plastic bag off, let the chemicals waft all over you and then cross your fingers you didn't just get cancer. Now, my clothes just smell clean.

Until I started going to the Dry Cleaning Station, I didn't realize there was another option for dry cleaning. Now I am totally spoiled and won't go anywhere else.

Located in Lohmann's plaza, this little dry cleaning place did a great job with clothes. The prices were reasonable and we liked how it is environmentally conscientious. Definitely going to them more than others in Central Durham.

Clean, well-lit, eco-friendly. Read a negative review regarding customer service on a local listserv, but my experience was great. Hoping to try out their alterations service as well soon, as there aren't many of those around here.
