I came to the clinic after experiencing some hip pain and feeling my alignment was off. Dr. Jennifer Labit came highly recommended to me and provided excellent recommendations and professional guidance with my hip pain. I've been coming to Nick at Athens Chiropractic for over 20 years. Pains me to say that. Ha. Ha. Seriously, he runs a beat-of-class operation. They have a full staff to take care of all the scheduling, billing and insurance needs. In addition, he runs a group of therapists for specialty work. They have on-site massage by apt with a CPM too.

I highly recommend this place, especially Dr. Mario! Very kind, and caring about the issues I have with my lower back. He explains his plan of attack very well and executes it even better. The adjustments he made were phenomenal, I woke up the next day feeling like brand new man. Friendly staff, and a very welcoming environment. So glad to have found this gem so close to home!

If you are looking for orthopedics, don't go here!
I have had experience with foot levelers in the past, Howe the combination of the orthodontics and this office was a nightmare!
After waiting for my orthotics for over 3 months and being in pain the entire time, I had to go somewhere else to get custom orthotics (in 2 weeks). My foot pain is now much better
So.....over 3 months without any foot leveler shoes which work! No refund of any of the $700 charge. Constant pain in my foot. Now constant pain in my wallet!

I've been visiting for a few months now to treat my back and neck pain and Jennifer has helped me make strides in my treatment. She educates me on good habits and proper techniques that help me on the daily and she's also very thorough when I'm visiting, giving me great adjustments. I started at Athens a while back because I'm very athletic and need chiropractic care to correct back issues. First off, the adjustments are top notch. No question that you will get a solid, customized adjustment that will instantly make you feel better and keep you that way. I opted for a concentrated set of adjustments in a short window and now I'm back on track.
On top of the adjustments, I was pleasantly surprised to get mini massages before my adjustments (while I wait for the doctor). Above and beyond! REALLY NICE! After the adjustments they move me to their physical therapy room

I am the first to give someone credit where credit is due on yelp. I've been going here on and off for over 20 years. Dr. Athens is a god send magician!! What he did for my neck after 3 weeks of not sleeping and in constant pain was amazing. Turns out it was one of my ribs that was impinged that was causing all types of issues on my left side. He cracked my left side and it was the loudest crack I've heard in my life followed by the worst pain for 10 seconds but after that I was cured!! He's the best in his field and works on the 49ers and many sports figures. I won't even set

Dr Nick Athens is without a doubt the best in his field.. I've returned after being away for 16 years..( many reasons why ). But where I am in life I just couldn't deny that I was in need of chiropractic care again to have a better quality of life.
And as I write this, it's been approximately 11 hrs after my 1st appt ...exam and 2/X-rays .. and adjustments later I'm beyond thrilled with the outcome and feeling 99.9% better.. and I'm sure I'll be 100% after my next adjustment!!
I'm looking forward to it I gotta admit the feeling of walking in in pain and knowing

Dr. Athens gave me the quality of healthy living!
I was referred to Dr. Athens 15 years ago when I could barely walk and had a tremendous amount of pain from protrusion of a disc in my lower back. Plus I was 12 week pregnant. If I were to follow a traditional medicine I'd ended up with a back surgery. Needless to say I was terrified to loose my baby!
Dr. Athens fixed my back after a few visits. He has been taking care of me and my children since they were newborns. It's very important to take care of your back and joins prophylactically as part of wellness to prevent problems later on

I've been coming to this place for more than a year now. Some visits are better than others. My friend referred his chiropractor to me and I enjoyed several of my sessions. My doctor's business has been picking up since I first saw him in November 2016 and I fully understand that he may be coming to my session a bit late. There are few times (3-4 times) I was waiting in the room 20 minutes past my scheduled time and the session was only 15 minutes. People at the back area (Gym) sometimes can be a little be laid back but they still know what they are doing. Just need to have proper communication

I have only had one visit, but I especially like Dr. Mario and am hopeful that they can help me with my chronic pain. Listening and diagnosing the causes is the beginning. Also helpful are excercises and a treatment plan. Dr. Mario even checked up on me to see how I was feeling. Fingers crossed that this works!

This place feels like an assembly line, crack-em pop-em kind of place. Barely any personal interest in treating the cause of your pains. They treat the symptoms and when there isn't any improvement, the increase the frequency of visits to still do nothing to treat the root cause of the pain. The female gym therapist/assistant is extremely rude and condescending. I did not feel cared for here at all.

I can't say enough good things about this operation. You are first set up with a PT for massage or loosening up then Dr. Athens for the adjustment & you are back with a PT for stretching, strengthening exercises or a roll out.
My first experience was with a lower back issue that was nearly cured with one visit. What immense relief. I've been doing brazilian jiu jitsu for about a year and six months now. During one of my classes I ended up hurting my lower back. I went and saw my other chiropractor, who was my first chiropractor, and he adjusted me. I still was in pain 3 weeks later even after being adjusted. I thought maybe I would have to go see a medical doctor until someone at my gym suggested I call Dr. Mario.
I made an appt and him and his team went to work as soon as I came into the office. They x-rayed me, which the other place didn't, and they also had a sports therapist there working with me and on me

This is the in-n-out, rack-em-and-crack-em kind of place. On my few visits to Athens Chiropractic, i was done in 15 minutes almost every time, and I felt like cattle. I'm not saying they are quacks (I'm a big fan of chiropractic care.) They just remind me way too much of a factory assembly line. I've been spoiled by much more attentive, personal service and have since moved on to another Chiropractor.
I'm sure they have helped people. I'm sure they have fixed some serious problems, but there are a lot better Chiropractors out there. And I'm grading on a curve.
