In 2008 we installed a new 3 spindle CNC drill line, then in early 2014 added another drill line with options such as; four sided CNC layout, tapping, countersinking, milling and auto tool changing. Combining 3D modeling software and these automated lines the transformation from design to finished product is seamless and accurate.

Redd Iron Inc. is a family owned and operated organization; with over a 100yrs of combined experience of key personnel. Beginning with Owner and C.E.O. Brian J. Atkins, he began in the steel industry in 1968 and holds associates degree in applied sciences (structural steel). Brian has several years' experience in steel joist and deck with a talent for design and value engineering.
Redd Iron Inc. offers a variety services to all different facets of the steel construction industry. On top of having a complete turnkey product for general contractors, we also believe in offering and assisting other fabricators and steel suppliers in their quest to do the same. We respect our fellow fabricators not just as good competition but also as allies, partners and customers.
This CNC drill line was our first automated drill line added to Redd Iron's arsenal in 2008. Designed to apply high steel (morse taper) drill tooling with a mist coolant sytem delivered directly through the bit for long tool life. From square\rectangular tubes to channel, beams and flat plate this machine will drill it all quickly and accurately.
The ADVANTAGE-2-CNC DRILL LINE is the latest addition to the Redd Iron. This machine offers us the latest in CNC technology, the first from Peddinghaus to offer options such as: 5 station auto tool changer, lead screw spindle motion, which allows more options such as: tapping, countersinking, and milling of slotted holes in structural members.
