Let me start out by saying this review is not so much about the quality of service but the lack of communication. We attempted to book a property for our summer vacation. We found one and thought we were good to go. We followed up two days after confirming we wanted the property because we did not receive the lease like we were supposed to. The woman we were dealing with, Nancy, informed us that the property we were going to rent was booked by the owner and he never informed them. While this was disappointing news to hear and is NOT the fault of the Island Realty, what the issue with this

We were told if our states or NJ were put on the travel restriction list we would get our money back. We are now on the restriction list and they still don't want to give us our money back. :( very sad. I understand everyone is new with the COVID issues, but if we can't come because of travel restrictions, its a no-brainer, we should get our money back. At first I was very happy working with Island realty group, now I wish I would never have come anywhere near this company. They are taking advantage of their customers during a Global pandemic, when most companies are giving refunds and

Used Island Realty as a "backup" since Remax at the Shore wasn't doing 'squat'. (More of them later) and it's a good thing I did. By the end of the summer season (2018) I had 10 consecutive weeks, Irish Weekend and a bonus of 5 months in the offseason. Wanna know how many Remax at the shore came up with? Kudos to Denise, Nancy and Jeff and company. Best year we ever had.

As a property owner, we have had a great experience over the past 4 seasons using Denise & Nancy at Island Realty Group as rental agents.
There have even been times that they have gone above & beyond in our absence.
And, after the first season they established several repeat renters for our condo. We appreciate their professionalism !

I will never use Island Realty again. I rented a condo from them recently and over 2 weeks later the owner decided pillows were missing and then 3 weeks later decided things were "misused" in there. The agent would not respond to my requests to speak or emails asking for proof of these "misused" things. They simply kept my deposit without even a return email or call. I never received a reason why these claims took over 3 weeks to come about or if someone else had been in the condo since we checked out. They will never receive my or my friends, families etc.
