Camp Judaea's mission is to provide a safe, fun, nurturing community where children, teens, and young adults grow as individuals, and build lifelong friendships. There are many special days at Camp Judaea including overnight camping trips and other trips; Bikkurim Color War; Inter-Camp Sports Tournaments and more. The Leon Levine Foundation (TLLF) has awarded $500,000 to Camp Judaea (CJ) to support the building of a new Arts Center. The new center will be named.
Services
Established in 1961, Camp Judaea is a small, Jewish, Israel-centered summer camp community for boys and girls ages 7-15 located in Hendersonville, NC. Camp Judaea's small scale allows campers to explore, learn and grow while being surrounded by unconditional love and acceptance. We know and understand each child individually and embrace them in a caring summer family where life-long friendships develop and are nurtured.
In the 1950s, a group of people dedicated to Israel and its ideals, who were also committed to Judaism and to educating children about their religion and culture, worked diligently to build the foundations of Camp Judaea. This vision of Lila Reisman, Roz Soltz, Herman Popkin, Malcolm Minsk and many other pioneers is the reason why Camp Judaea is here today.

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation has pledged to help Camp Judaea through these uncertain times with the All Together Now: A Matching Grant for Jewish Camp initiative. For example, a gift of $180 will be met with $90 from The Harold Grinspoon Foundation for an impact of $270.

I have had THE BEST summer of my entire life for the past 4 years. This camp has become my home and i have created the best bonds with so many people that they have become family to me. If i could give this camp 100 stars i would. I am always waiting for the school year to be over so i can get right into camp!
