The days are growing shorter, there's a refreshing chill in the air, and another year's bounty of grapes have been picked, crushed and pressed to be made into your favorite Mallow Run wines. Thank you to our amazing volunteers that helped us pick grapes during harvest, and thank you to everyone who came out all summer and harvest season long and helped us celebrate family and friendship with live music, food and wine.
It was another fantastic year, and we feel honored that we got to share it with you! We hope you will continue to visit us (open 12-6pm every day) for a complimentary wine tasting and a relaxing afternoon at the winery.

Services
Mallow Run is the product of years of hard work by John Richardson and his son, Bill, and Bill's wife, Laura. John grew up on the farm, moved away to teach school for 35 years, and then retired back on the farm with the intent of growing grapes to supply other Indiana wineries. Bill, who grew up dreaming of living on the farm, settled into the original Mallow/Richardson home after graduating from Purdue with a degree in Agriculture.
Our Reserve Chardonnay is bright, yet creamy, with incredible mouthfeel. Notes of pear and green apple are joined by hints of yeast aging and a touch of soft, round oak. Similar to its parent grape, Gewurztraminer, our Dry Traminette has spice characteristics of nutmeg and cinnamon in perfect balance with fruit and floral notes.
Mallow Run Winery is proud to present our Artist Series Wine project. Every year, a special wine is released featuring label artwork from a local artist that is chosen from dozens of submissions. A portion of the proceeds from this wine will be donated to promote local artists and art awareness in the community.
Mallow Run wines are distributed by TWE Wholesale and Johnson Brothers of Indiana in Central Indiana. If you are interested in carrying Mallow Run wines in your store, restaurant, or other retail outlet, please e-mail JP Pitcock at JP@mallowrun.com or Erik McQueeney at kmcqueeney@johnsonbrothers.com, or call 317.422.1556.
We invite you to visit Mallow Run Winery, nestled on a family farm in Bargersville, IN (just 20 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis). Relax in our cozy and rustic tasting room, or sip wine in the sunshine on the deck. Spread out a blanket on the lawn and enjoy one of our many outdoor concerts in the summer.

We could not say enough good things about this venue. I have a unique perspective on Mallow Run as I have photographed many weddings here AND my husband and I actually got married here a few years back! As a wedding client, the coordinators were very friendly and easy to work with. They always answered all of our questions quickly and in great detail. We had so many options with the space and could truly customize our day to be exactly how we wanted. We opted for an indoor ceremony and reception, so during cocktail hour everyone shifted to the entrance/bar area as well as hung out all around the

Really good selection of wines. The wine yard is very pretty and you can come a bit early to take some pictures. The tasting room is big enough to accommodate small or large groups. The tasting itself is free, but you have to be at the counter. Once you purchase wines and/or food, you can sit at the tables. Great place to come to during summer time.

My go-to winery/hangout spot! đ If you love a relaxed feel with subtle-sweet wines, then this is the winery for you! Staff is always inviting & welcoming. Their wine selection is rather large, mostly varying in the subtle - sweet wines. If youâre looking to stay a little, they have crackers & cheese plates for you to buy as well. During the nicer summer days/fall nights, itâs nice to be able to sit outside & enjoy the live music at their picnic tables. I would highly recommend!

We went for one of the 4th of July type events. We went early to do a wine tasting and we were surprised to find out that the wine tasting was complimentary. They had delicious Blueberry pomegranate wine slushies and a great live band with food trucks. It was a very fun event! Sadly, we left before the fireworks.

Mallow Run is a great local vineyard thatâs open to the public for tastings of good local wine, live music, and great fun with friends. They have ample covered patio seating to keep you in the shade and out of the rain. Itâs also heated, for when the fall days get a bit too chilly. Theyâre both dog and kid friendly too. You can bring your own food in, purchase from food trucks that are frequently there on weekends, or purchase a cheese and fruit tray. You canât go wrong with a visit to Mallow Run.

We did a tasting and tour event. John took us around the facilities and showed us the place. Amazing growth and exciting progress with their wines! What a kind man. The shop was decked out for the holidays - cozy by the fireplace with a bottle of Finale. Very nice visit - lots of cute merchandise to built a basket for a gift or sit down with cheese and grapes and take a break. We did both! Thank you!
