From 1991 until 2006, our Owner and Vintner Jeff Durm grew grapes, sold grapes, and made wine in his basement. In April of 2006 we opened our doors to the public and began to share his efforts with the world. We've won 148 Medals at the Indy International Wine Competition along with numerous other awards.
We have been growing grapes in Marion County for over 25 years. With almost 3,000 grapevines on 4 1/2 acres of land, we have the only commercial vineyard in Indianapolis. Most of the vines are from the original planting in 1991 and serve as the backbone of our award-winning production.

Very small tasting room, but wines are great. $10 for a tasting of 6 wines. Over 36 wines on their menu. Cheeses, snacks, and Chocolates for sale in packages. Owners were very nice and knowledgeable. They do have perks for wine club members and ship over most of the US.
Most wines are under $20 with sweets around $15. Best part is that they are just a few minutes off of the 465 interstate. Great location.
Good stop on the way across the county. Also great that they are open on mondays! Would love to see it in the summer with more activity.

Really enjoyed our time at Buck Creek Winery today! Found it via a quick search and were super glad we did. We each had a tasting (6 pours) and were able to swap glasses. Then we split a 3rd tasting to finish out the day.
The owners were fun to talk with and I enjoyed the stories that went with the wines.
Would have liked purse hooks under the bar. 😉🤣
Definitely recommend a visit!

We stopped at Buck Creek returning from some shopping in Bloomington. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My friend and I were able to get a small booth to do some wine tasting-the counter isn't open for this yet. We were provided paper menus that described the wines well and a paper to write in our selections. I liked the efficiency and it's easy to see what you're drinking but for those new to wine tastings, an explanation or caution to write in selections from dry to sweet, as the menu listed them, is a must. It would be easy to start writing and realize you want a drier wine

Great place to stop for wine tasting. We prefer dry wines but they have semi- sweet and sweet wines also. We had skipped lunch and were glad to see they had a selection of cheeses and crackers for sale (and they provided a cutting board and knife.) We picked out several bottles to take with us for later.🍷

I was so excited to come here. We drove 37 min to get here. Only to spend 15 min MAX in the wine tasting. We had never been here before so we didn't really know what we were doing. Finally an employee came over and told us how to do the wine tasting. I personally liked a few of them but my husband didn't like any of them (and he's a wine drinker). It was obvious who comes in there often, as they got more attention than the new customers got. 10-15 minutes after we arrived we left disappointed.

Traveling from Cincy to Indy; we caught site of this place along the highway. Great advertising, easy to find.
Buck Creek is our 84th winery that we've visited and it was a great stop.
Very nice variety of wines. We were lucky enough to be here when the owner/wine maker was working the front. Very personable. Even offered us a tour of where the magic happens.
I always enjoy a winery with a 'gift shop' area- lots to look at here at Buck Creek. Purchased a jar of a Robert Rothschild product. So good and thanks to Buck Creek, I'm not a Rothschild future customer.

Cool spot to catch some music, drink some wine and hang out with friends.
We got a little lucky and managed to pick a day where the weather could have gone either way. It sprinkled just a little, so there wasn't a huge crowd. The wine is well priced and drinkable.. I'm not a wine snob, but know what I like and don't like.
They have wine slushies, which are super sweet but give you an opportunity to mix it up a bit.
They have some food on site in a concession truck... didn't get any of it, but it's nice to have it available.
The music was fairly good.. leaned a little

This place is a must see. The people are so nice and helpful. Their Apple cider's are the best. They are very good at everything to do with Grapes though. Their food is the good too. Try rhubarb and their blackberry is sooo good 😎, Lucky for us only 15 minutes away away so we stop in every time we get a chance. Check them out you'll be delighted.

An under the radar winery in the SW side. Variety of winners, from dry to sweet wines. The tasting room and bottle logos are a bit low-brow, but the wine tastes good and the price is affordable. So if you are a wine snob, this may not be your thing. But would be a good stop for a girls trip or a relaxing Saturday night.

We enjoy the outdoor music. Ample room to pull your chairs out. You can bring your own cooler with food or they have a food truck on hand. The food truck tends to run out of food so plan to eat early. Also the first hour or so there is not a lot of shade so plan accordingly. The service os friendly inside the winery and clean. I enjoy dry wines usually a Cabernet but with it being summer I get the strawberry rhubarb
Sadly this past outdoor music event was dampered by several
Smokers who sat near the front but various locations. A couple cigar smokers. We noticed several people leave because

I stop by here when I can. They have a decent selection of wines. They get their grapes from all over the U.S. I am not a fan of dry wines but I am starting to branch out a little bit and try some semi-dry wines. I tried some on this trip as they have a tasting of six wines for $5. You also get a discount the more bottles that you buy. Nice little place and they have some room out back where they do music in the spring and summer. I would recommend you stopping by and checking it out.
