All of our wines are handmade on the premises in Olathe, Colorado. Our vineyard and orchard have been nurtured with the Colorado sun, giving our wine a distinct, invigorating goodness. Historically, the Western Slope of Colorado has been a destination for people across the state to visit and pick delicious produce. Our orchard is open for picking the following types of fruits and vegetables. They are roughly arranged for their season. The months are also approximate and may change according to the weather, but we'll keep you updated.

We pulled into the winery about dusk and caught a gorgeous sunset at our campsite. We camped overnight here, so we could river surf just down the road at the park in Montrose. Pretty cool camping right on the winery! Porta potties were in the area too, a lil perk for camping.
You can hear the highway off in the distance but it didn’t put a dent in our sleep or our stay. We had plenty of space to set up our tent and gear, tables at every site, awesome fire pits and a free wine tasting with the owner. We loved their cherry wine and bought a bottle to support them too!

We stayed here as a Harvest Host guest. We loved the eclectic feel and vibe of the place. We parked our 5th wheel near a large building that provided shade and shelter as we enjoyed their delicious wine. We were happy that our dog was welcome as well.
The only problem we had was the hosts left for the night and their dog was so upset he barked the whole night through.
I would stay here again as it is a lovely place, I would just make sure the hosts were available to quiet the dogs.

We stayed overnight July 2nd. We were met by Wendy, the owner and her daughter. This winery is a real family affair. They helped us find a good spot for our RV, as there were 2 other rigs there that night. We had a great tasting and picked up a couples of bottles. They had a fire later that night for all the guests. We had a great time and will return. They were kind enough to mail me my glasses when I inadvertently left them there.

Pleasantly surprised! We love hitting wineries in the areas we visit. We were staying in Montrose CO and there weren't really any nearby wineries. We did see this one & drove into Olathe. I have to say, we were driving into what looked like a residential area. Mountain View is a corner house, but in the back in a large building & a small building/house behind the main house. We weren't sure what to expect when we pulled in but kept an open mind. We are used to seeing more commercial style or lavish styles but know it isn't always reflective of how the wine is. My husband & I both loved the wine

They have moved their tasting room outside and are being super careful with Covid. Tastings are in disposal cups. Everyone super friendly and wore a mask. We stopped to just buy some wine to take home to our house sitter for taking care of our house while we have been out of town for four months. My husband did the tasting and I stayed in the car to limit our exposure. He bought a few bottles and I have already drank one. It is good wine. I can't wait to return post Covid and "experience" the place.

My grandfather William M. Brown owned this farm from 1940 until he sold it to the Youngs in the late 1950s. It was a peach farm. I love to think that grandfather's care and tending of the soil for his 40 acre peach farm (and cherries and black walnuts) has helped to make this vineyard's wine so wonderful. The tasting room used to house the farm tractors and other implements and is set next to the little Depression-era house where I played as a kid in the 1950s with a raccoon I named Davy Crockett.

We sought this place out during a girls afternoon and are so glad we did. It was a bit difficult to find but keep a little patience and an eye out for signage closer to Olathe and you too will find this gem. It's a working farm and vineyard but the tasting cottage is intimate and charming. We were greeted warmly and attentively. Try the pomegranate if it's in season. The chocolate cherry dessert wine is delicious as is their strawberry rhubarb.

We were a little caught off guard by the very rustic setting. The winery/vineyard is right in the middle of a neighborhood and the tasting room is right next to the owners home. That said, the owner was incredibly friendly and we very much enjoyed her company during the tasting. She also gave us recommendations for other wineries to visit in the area.
The tasting room was cozy and intimate. We loved the wines and bought 6 bottles. I recommend trying the red wine/pomegranate blend, so good! The tasting was free.
