Amazing stay....again! The owners are absolutely amazing and such great supporters of Veterans!
Entire place is clean & friendly! Atmosphere is great with a nice lake, walking areas, fire pits, pavilion. Cabins and rooms are perfect for "glamping"
2nd time here this year....and another trip booked for 2022 already!

I'm on a cross country bicycle trip and wanted to stay at the motel, but they were booked, so opted for a tent site in the campground. Had a very nice chat with the owners and their son when I arrived (very nice people), and the campground is nicely set up around a man-made lake. I'm only giving it 3 stars because they do not have a "quiet after 10PM" policy. A family near my campsite had their radio on until after midnight and refused to turn it off when I requested them to, and a campground employee said it didn't seem loud to her. I ended up having to move my tent at 12:30AM. I see no reason

The lake is absolutely beautiful and you can swim on one end and fish the other end. There is a floating dock in the swim area at the deep end to jump off or sunbathe. They have a fully stocked camp store that is open 7 days a week 11 to 7pm. Cabins are available to rent and are perfectly situated to enjoy the beautifully manicured sprawling… property. They also have a large gazebo for rentals of private parties etc and a huge covered pavilion with lights, power, grill and refrigerator. Overall this campground is amazing and definitely the place to get away at.

Accomodating, Fantastic, Perfect are all words I usually reserve for Michelin-rated restaurants, but Lake Chalet went so above-and-beyond that there really are no words to describe my latest visit in over 25yrs
As I stated in the opening sentence, it's been 25 years since I had last been to Lake Chalet, but that's due to life imposing it's will, and family circumstance. Living in Atlanta definitely has a lot to do with the gap in visiting, but in modern times, that's no real excuse. The reason for my latest visit was the death of my Mom. Her wishes were to be buried nearby

I came here to officiate my best friend's wedding at the Lake Chalet over the weekend, and I have to say- I'm very impressed by this place.
First, this place is breathtaking, the lake itself is just amazing to look at with its blue-green color. There are acres of trails to walk, and because of the time of year it's so nice to be in nature.
Secondly, the cabins are made of cedar, so they keep an okay amount of isolation in the cold, but these are not heated cabins so bundle up when you go to bed. The cabins are really nice on the outside as well as the
