Services
Photo taken in 1936 shows original owner, Harold Rayford Fry Senior, with his daughter cutting the grass in front of the first two cottages before becoming a resort. As you can see there is no driveway or grassy banks or other buildings. The single story building is now cottage #6 and the 2 story in the distance is cottage #5.
Each clean, spacious room features a large scenic picture window with lake view and seating with table and 2 cushioned chairs, two double beds, full tiled private bath with tub/shower, blow dryer, cable flat screen TV, WIFI, individually controlled AC/Heat, small refrigerator. Front door parking and back door large lakeview lawn.
Each housekeeping cottage has a cozy living area, cable TV hook-up and picture window. A family dining area and kitchen with range, full size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and basic dishes and cooking needs gives you a home away from home. Cottage 5, a two-story, has three bedrooms, one with double bed, one with two twins and one with a twin and a double.
Fall is apple season and a perfect time to visit Fly Creek. There are many different special tasting weekends, comics & concerts, cider & apple festivals and even a Duck Derby weekend with rubber duck races down the creek. Besides the incredible beauty of the Fall Foliage in upstate NY which is reason enough to pay us a vist, there is SO much to see and do!

My family stays at Aalsmeer every year. It's like a second home to us. There's perfect lake access, rustic cabins, and kind people. 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting to live their best life.

The cabins are functional, if a bit rustic. It's the sort of place that you go to be a bit outdoorsy but not quite camping outdoorsy. My family has been coming up here for ages, I'm not sure how to describe it for someone who has no clue about it.

This is a great place to stay. Nice views and water access. No cell signal to speak of and little WiFi, but this is a place to disconnect anyway. Definitely recommend for a relaxing lake vacation!

Rustic cabins overlooking the lake. No fancy amenities and limited internet connectivity but a good place to unwind for a week.

Went to pull a boat from the lake. Cottages looked in good condition and grounds were maintained. It is steep on that side of the lake and it drops off fast.

Been coming here for the better part of 25 years! This is where I come to "escape" from the rat race and recharge my batteries! The cabins are rustic, neat and well maintained. Peter and Judy are GREAT!
