At PUHSD all students should feel physically and emotionally safe at school. Bullying behavior is completely unacceptable. Bullying prevention starts with the knowledge of what it means to engage in or become a victim of bullying. Placing a reasonable pupil or pupils in fear of harm to that pupil's or those pupils' person or property.
The Governing Board believes the mission of the district is to provide quality educational programs and meaningful opportunities which encompass the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical aspects of all students within the district and which will enable them to become productive members of society.
This new order states that there is not a requirement to provide any physical location for the public to attend and participate in virtual/teleconferenced school board meetings. Therefore, until further notice, all PUHSD school board meetings will take place via virtual/teleconference. The intention in doing so is to follow the local and state orders and protect the public health.
The Perris Union High School District believes that all students can and will meet the challenging goals set by our Board of Education. To this end, the Educational Services Division supports our school sites with a wide variety of services, programs, and resources. Of primary importance is the standards-based instructional program that builds on the skills and knowledge that each student brings to us.
Meaningful Work, Caring Staff, and Innovative Technology are the distinguishing characteristics of the Perris Union High School District. Recruiting and retaining high quality, caring staff is a fundamental responsibility of the Human Resources Department. We are a small department, but we are mighty.
