Services
Evelyn moved to Colorado from South Jersey in 2017 and began waxing in the Denver area shortly after. Miranda is the founder of Denver Waxing and has been growing her loyal following since 2008. Denver Waxing is located in the Ballpark neighborhood close to downtown making it convenient for a quick lunchtime wax or stop on your way home from work.
Depending on your skin type and coarse of hair, some people initially find a level of discomfort that subsides over a period of regular waxing. If you have a low pain tolerance, you can take an ibuprofen half hour prior to your appointment. You should not wax if you are taking antibiotics, Accutane, Differin, Retin A or any other medications that list "sun-sensitivity" as a symptom.

Be very careful when making an appointment with this place. I've had a few fraudulent charges to my credit card show up after I made an appointment with them. They do ask you to enter your credit card information on their website before you can book an appointment and that you authorize them to charge it before you even have your first appointment, which by itself should have been a red flag. I reported the charges and got the card replaced, but be careful with these people.

Miranda is awesome. She was my first - lady garden waxing first time. My first time was also pre-shutdown and I'm now a regular customer.
She eased my worries and wasn't the hurtful experience as some described.
She is very accommodating, whereas I had to cancel a couple of times due to my schedule.
I look forward to my next visit where she will do my eyebrows also.
I appreciate how each visit is completely dedicated to my service.
I'm now a Denver Waxing snob. There's no way I could go anywhere else!

I usually see Miranda but wanted to support her new employee Bren. I’m glad I did because she is fantastic! Just as professional and warm as Miranda. Bren made me feel instantly comfortable, which when getting a Brazilian is not the easiest thing.

I made an appointment online for a lip wax and it wasn't until I got there several days later that she told me I couldn't have the service I signed up for because of COVID. I asked her to update the website and she said she didn't want to take down the service. But she also didn't provide me with the service. So be very cautious on the website because it's not accurate and she has no desire to update it to reflect her current practice. Plus she won't call to let you know that.

Horrible. Very unprofessional. I was denied services because of my identified GENDER identity. If you're looking for a LGBTQ friendly place to go, do NOT choose here. From somebody who serves the ENTIRE community (male of female) in a healthcare setting, this is unacceptable to deny someone the services they paid for because of who they are under their clothes.

Discovered Miranda after moving here from FL and she is wonderful! She knows her stuff about skin and hair. I have super sensitive skin and an allergy and she was able to accommodate and make sure the services didn't have any negative effects! In fact she's the first aesthetician I've seen where I don't get bumps and ingrowns later. Give her a try if your looking for a good wax. If you've never waxed before go to Miranda, of all the people I've seen she's the best at making it as painless as possible. Seriously she rocks!!!

Miranda is wonderful! Truly the sweetest person ever. She was extremely warm and welcoming. I told her about my allergies and sensitive skin. She informed me of the type of wax and oil used during the process. It was a completely painless experience.

Miranda is awesome! I highly recommend it, the wax was as painless as can be and she was very detailed about it. I did buy the Groupon but she also mentioned every 6 waxes you earn a free one.
I normally go to European Wax Center and the service is sooo inconsistent with waxers who just don't care to pay attention to detail. She was detail oriented and did a great job. Also very cute boutique and she is very friendly!

- Professional, easy conversation, she was genuine, friendly
- Wax was thorough and almost pain free (calming jasmine oil was lovely)
- Every 6th wax is free!

I have been waxed all around the world and all around Denver. Miranda provides personal service with just the right touch of professionalism and familiarity. I would aay this has been my best waxing experience since moving to Denver from NY almost a year ago. I've been looking for that sweet spot. Very happy with the results and I am super picky! I will be back!
