When booking online, if you do not see a time slot that you would like, please give us a call. We will always try to accommodate you at your desired time. FIRST TIME GUESTS: Please plan to arrive five minutes prior to your appointment. We also ask that you read the Wax101 information prior to your appointment for helpful information about your appointment.
Before your eyelash extension appointment, please take a moment to read Eyelash Extensions 101. It will explain how to prepare and what to expect. Henna is the best tinting solution if you are looking for long-lasting stain on the eyebrows and hairs. It has a tattoo-like effect and looks natural. Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation similar in theory to microdermabrasion but without the use of suction or abrasive crystals.

Kelsey is recently transplanted from Arizona. She specializes in balayage, but loves doing every style possible! Whether it be platinum blonde or a low maintenance balayage highlight, she will make sure your hair is healthy and continually maintains its integrity. So grateful to have found a great waxing place in my new home!
I have been coming to see Halo for a few months now, and she does a great job. She uses a combination of hard and soft wax (though I'm sure if you have a preference, you can choose one or the other) and never double-dips. It's always a quick and painless process, and she's really nice to talk to as well!
It's a tad noisy in here due to the way the place is constructed - small rooms with open ceilings built within a large space where other salon appointments are also taking place, but that's no bother for me

I absolutely loved coming here for the past 3 years. Unfortunately after today’s experience with Denise; the owner, I will not be returning. I was expressing my concerns as a client and she was dismissive, rude, raising her voice, and continually kept interrupting me. Her attitude was shocking and appalling.

Best wax spot in Denver. Moved to Denver about a year ago and I've tried out a few places already. I've been getting waxed for over 10 years and I can be a bit picky cause I have thick, coarse hair throughout my body :)
Unlike some of those chain wax places and their assembly line like service, this place is different in terms of customer service and the fact that they understand that the labia should not be waxed in a single strip...ouch you know the places.

I had a last minute cancellation the day before a trip to Mexico and they were able to get me in same day. They definitely made a repeating customer of me. The whole experience was way better than anything I’ve had before. It was clean, fast, less painful than any other waxing a I’ve had. Also had a discount for being a first time customer. I am very pleased with the results and they made getting my armpits waxed feel like a relaxing activity rather than a chore.

This use to be my go to place for all my waxing needs, but after my experience today I will no longer be using their services. I left 45 mins prior to my appointment to cover any traffic delays. Unfortunately, a traffic jam occurred which was going to make me 8-10 mins late to my appointment. I called 10 mins prior to my appointment to let my esthetician, Halo, know. I get my hair cut and colored by Duane at Wax and Beauty Bar. I started out with peak-a-boo color in violet to my brunette hair. I was interested in doing this for ages but nervous how it would look. Duane consulted with me, showed me loads of photos and took plenty of time before I decided to go ahead. The result was I loved it so much I decided to go bolder on my next appointment and went with a purple balayage-ish look. I love it. I have not stopped getting compliments everywhere I go. I have had 2 Brazilian waxes here, and they have been great both times! The second time I went to get one, they were super professional and let me know that it did not make sense to get one at that time due to not enough hair growth and rescheduled me to a later date without charging me. I thought this was great service, and really appreciated their honesty making sure I didn't waste my money to get a wax when it wouldn't have come out right. I also like their package deals since they seem to be a good deal in comparison to some other waxing studios. I will definitely be continuing to get my waxes

I am beyond upset right now, please allow me to explain. I had contacted Wax and Beauty Bar over a week ago to find out when they would be taking appts again and was happy to be able to give them my business again as I know it is needed locally, particularly with Sarah who I have had the pleasure of getting services with before.
I was corresponding and having to deal with a gal named Denise via email and finally got an appt set. Fast forward to today; I received a text from Denise (mind you I did not give permission to receive texts) stating my appt would have to be rescheduled due to CO isolation

I'm a fan! Adorable wax and beauty bar in a central location, which is convenient for me to pop over on my lunch break! The lobby is super chic with a velvet couch, fun gifts and tons of beauty products. The rooms were clean and the wax tables were padded and comfortable. Sarah was so personable and efficient! I was silky smooth in under 30 minutes with little to no soreness. Overall great experience at an excellent price! I'll definitely be back!

Five star service deserves five star reviews. I found this gem on a Groupon and I will be back as soon as I can. The space is beautiful and welcoming. Sarah was awesome! Super professional, friendly, made me feel ultra comfortable(even with the Brazilian) and did an excellent job. She is clearly extremely knowledgeable and a dedicated professional to her gifted trade. I would recommend booking ahead of time for her with the app. I heard a girl in the waiting room saying she couldn't get on her schedule because she was fully booked!
