Ashley grew up in Portland, Oregon where her love for animals blossomed at a very young age. She always wanted to pursue a career in pet care and was intrigued by the medical aspect of the veterinary field. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree from Portland State University, she volunteered for a few animal rescues and wrote grants for small no-kill shelters surrounding the greater Portland Metro area.

My kitty has been very sick and a regular client of the clinic. I called and called to get someone to talk to me about her condition getting worse and no one would. They said the first day someone would get back to me. Nothing. I called the next morning and they said I was on the schedule for today but by 4 no one still called so I called another vet and she told me bad things that could happen by the cat not being seen. So mad for them for not taking care of the kitty. Taking her to another vet. Do not go there. No caring or sympathy from anyone while I was calling trying to get someone to talk

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
I have been driving from Bend to Sunriver Vet for ~10 years now. Both vets (Drs. Merideth and Kent) are wonderful people and fully committed to helping me and my animals. Every single person on the staff is a joy to interact with. To a person they are caring, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. So glad I found them!

This is a great clinic. We have been patrons for over four years with our lab. The staff are super friendly, gentle and very invested in the wellbeing of our companion pets/family members. We recently adopted a dog from Mexico. Given she is a rescue her first wellness visit was generously provided at no charge. We are grateful to have such high quality care locally.

Very disappointed in the fact that they are not accommodating to those of us trying to use a Local Vet. They are more expensive than the other Lapine vet offices, but I like the fact they are 10min from where I live. Today I was having trouble getting my cat ready to go into the carrier and still had 15min until my appointment, I called to let them know I would be there - maybe a couple min late. She said I needed to be there on time on lose my appointment. Not very professional. When you have a sick animal that needs to be seen I would expect a small amount of flexibility. Often times we sit and

Dr. Merideth and the staff at Sunriver Veterinary Clinic are absolutely top notch. They have taken excellent care of my 4 Newfoundlands from the very first round of puppy vaccinations until they passed of old age.
I have had to bring my dogs in for everything from emergency surgery to just an ordinary yearly check up and I have never had anything but a wonderful experience with the Dr. and her compassionate staff.
I feel extremely luck to have such a great vet in our area.

We were on vacation when my pup started to have problems with her eats! Called Sunriver Veterinary Clinic and they got me in at 9a! Treatment from the office check in to the next day when they called to check in on Rayme was fantastic! Very little detour from our wonderful vacation! Thank you to all the staff and greatly appreciate Dr Kristie Burges for being so kind, loving and gentle with Rayme!

Best dental cleaning -EVER!!! My 10 year old Yorkie, LEXI, badly needed her teeth cleaned & some pulled. I was nervous, but as soon as I met Dr. Wendy Meridith & her amazing staff, I felt very comfortable! They even did pre-op blood work to make sure that Lexi (older dog) wouldn't have problems with anesthesia (due to bad liver or kidneys). They also gave her i.v. fluids, took X-rays where needed & extracted two bad teeth! When I arrived to pick her up, they showed me before & after photos of her teeth ~ they're absolutely white & beautiful now!!! Dr. Meridith also

Although their staff was pleasant and nice I myself was highly disappointed in the care my pet received. My dog was brought in for possibly having an object stuck in his intestines. After doing an X-ray the found the blockage and the first suggestion was surgery right away that afternoon. Costing from 1200 to 2000 dollars. I wasn't able to afford that so they pretty much gave up . So after spending 300 dollars to basically let my dog die I decided to get a second opinion. The new vet looked at the old vets X-ray and informs me the blockage is not the problem . Long story short I ended up putting

Today was the first appointment I had since moving to Sunriver for my dog. I can't tell you how impressed I was from the staff to the Doctor. When I first called the receptionist was so accommodating and nice on the phone I felt at ease taking my dog there. My dog is not real sociable with other people and was extremely nervous when we went into the exam room. The Assistant was so kind and gentle and then Dr. Colton came in and my dog Yoshi was so at ease with him I was shocked. Dr. Colton's gentle way with Yoshi was the best I've ever experienced. Yoshi usually does not do well
