We are a full-service office that can handle all of your podiatry needs. Below are just some of the conditions we treat. Ankle sprains are very common injuries with more than 3 million suffered each year in the US. They occur when the ligaments in the ankle are severely stretched or torn. Medical attention will be necessary to rule out a fracture, as often it is difficult to tell the full extent of the injury.
Dr. Armstrong presented a case of patient over the age of 50 who had undergone a bunionectomy three decades prior. Patient presented in clinic with pain in the left foot great toe. The pain was presenting patient from walking, running or wearing certain types of shoes. Traditional X-Ray imaging didn't provide an adequate look at the patient's foot due to superimposition of the sesamoids and metatarsals.

I called the Tamarac office on Jan 18, 2021 to make a new patient appointment for any day after 3 PM due to my work schedule. But the office clerk would not accommodate me. She said nothing is available. Although this office is opened until 5 PM. This is very disappointing and a sad way not to provide services for working people. Shame, shame, shame!!!!!!

I had ingrown toenails on both sides of both big toes. Over the years, when they would get painful, I often times tried taking care of them myself - going to Barry University/Jackson North and having a Board Certified Podiatrist permanently remove the ingrown toenails was awesome, I couldn't be more happy with the end results, I should have gone years ago. The Dr., Students, Staff, and Office Manger were all very helpful, informative, and professional, I highly recommend Barry University and any of their office locations to anyone needing foot and ankle care.

Called Jackson North medical center and the staff was unprofessional and not helpful at all. Kept bouncing me around between different people. Inconsiderate to me being in pain and trying to book an appointment. very disappointing. do not recommend.
