Our hospital is equipped to treat your pet in a time of crisis, and we are also here for the day-to-day preventive, vaccines, dental care, routine and emergency surgeries.

Dr. Rani graduated from Veterinary College in India in 1991. After working few years in India she moved to Australia with her husband. She worked in a research team in Department of Animal Science, University of Western Australia Perth for 4 years before moving to University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Dr. Rani has worked as a veterinarian in Canada and USA for last 18 years.
Cat dandruff is a skin condition characterized by dry, itchy, flaky skin. This is unknowingly common to most cats. Dandruff appears like white specks on the skin causing it to be dry and itchy. A lack of omega 3 fatty acid in a feline's diet can lead to this poor state of the skin. Another cause of dandruff in cats may be caused by extreme loss of skin moisture and natural oils.

The staff there is pleasant (Receptionist and techs). I could not get into my regular vet and my brother recommended them. Needless to say i had to put my baby down. I will Never take another animal here. The Dr. I felt was very Judgemental and honestly just Rude. My brother is also looking for a new vet. Someone that has some compassion.

Very disappointed with this vet hospital. Took my 14 year old cat in for an eye infection and they insisted on a rabies vaccine. I’m 100% for vaccines but seems inappropriate for my indoor cat that is in dire state; the possibility of him transmitting rabies is beyond negative, comical in fact. Again, went in just for eye drops and they pushed the rabies shot on us. Sad to say that in the days following, this made my cat very sick and he is now fighting for his life. I regret being talked into this vaccination, there’s a reason our home vet didn’t push it upon us and I’m sad we went to

My cat swallowed a foreign object and after calling 10+ vets in the area, they were able to take me in as a new patient. Upon an X-ray we found she swallowed something, it was stuck, and she was very ill. They were compassionate and so kind in dealing with me crying and I saw one of the employees petting my cat and loving on her, which made me feel so at ease. They helped me find an emergency hospital to get her surgery. I am forever greatful for their help and professionalism and kindness. I will return for routine checkups. Thank you guys so much for helping me.

Thank you so much for getting me in today! My dog was very sick yesterday & today. My regular vet rejected to see her. The efforts made by this team to squeeze me in were very appreciated. I am pleased with the care she received. The price was completely reasonable. We are going back in two weeks for my dog's check up. I will be back for regular yearly visits after that.

We've been seeing Dr. Rani for the last few years but this was our first experience sedating our dog for a hygiene appt. I can honestly say they did an incredible job. I'm a dentist and I don't think I could have done a better job myself (actually I know I couldn't). Highly recommend! Our dog's breath has vastly improved and his teeth look amazing!

Having to say goodbye to your little family member is the one of the hardest things you have to deal with. The staff at Troy&Heights were amazing, explaining the process, giving us time to say goodbye, and not rushing us in any way.
