Our goal at Madison Veterinary Hospital is to give our patients comprehensive health care with the same compassion that we would give our own animals. For that reason, we have only outstanding licensed and certified health providers on our team. Dr. W. Andrew Rollo graduated from Michigan State University in 2004 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
While at MSU, he became the second president of the Veterinary Practice Builders Association, helping to create scholarship opportunities for veterinary students to learn about the business side of veterinary medicine. Dr. Rollo has been on the Veterinary Economics advisory board for the past several years, as well as being a contributing author to the journal.

Services
If you are seeking a hospital where quality and compassionate services will always be available, Madison Veterinary Hospital is waiting to welcome you to our facility. We invite you to explore all the options we can offer your pet or contact us with any questions. Pet health plans-We know that you care deeply for your pet, but we also understand that pet health care is not inexpensive.
An important part of your pet's health is knowing what lies beneath the fur. When your pet arrives for his or her first visit, our veterinarians will examine your pet from nose to tail. We use this as a baseline to create your pet's personalized health plan and monitor your pet's health throughout his or her lifetime.
Healthy teeth are a key component of healthy pets. Maintaining a regimen of oral health care goes beyond the elimination of bad breath or discolored teeth, it eliminates the threat of infections entering your pet's bloodstream and a common source of pain in our pets. At Madison Veterinary Hospital, we've always had high standards for your pet's oral care and we continue to raise the bar.
Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation "LASER" employs the use of a laser beam to activate certain areas of the body in order to gain very specific types of therapeutic response. Therapy laser is a noninvasive procedure that works using a variety of methods.
The laser light penetrates deeply into the tissue providing an anti-inflammatory response by causing vasodilation (widens the blood vessels) and activates the lymphatic drainage system. This process creates a reduction in swelling caused by bruising or inflammation. The laser light also stimulates collagen which is an essential protein required to replace old tissue or repair injuries by accelerating cell reproduction and growth.

We are very proud and excited to offer Health Plans at Madison Veterinary Hospital. We developed and launched our Health Plans as a commitment to our clients to help them take excellent care of their companions. In 2008 economic times were extremely hard in Southeast Michigan.
With the banking crisis, housing crisis and financial institutions suffering and two automotive companies declaring bankruptcy our community was hit very hard with their own personal finances. We began to see many cases coming in on a daily basis of pets that needed health care and owners unable to afford the services needed to help their pets.

I recently moved to the Detroit metro area, clueless on who to pick as a vet. I only accept the highest quality of care, with compassionate and kind individuals who aren't just doing their job, they're working with what they're passionate about: the health of our beloved pets.
I called my AAHA vet where I moved from, and they recommended Madison Veterinary Hospital, and asked them to help me find a place as great as they are. MVH has performed above and beyond all my expectations listed above. And then some!
They even have wellness plans, similar to insurance. My dog gets her nails trimmed, and

Critical: Reliability
The Vets are great. The support staff is fine. But they are just completely over-booked. If you need an appointment they are at least 2 months out for anything over than a life-threatening emergency. The set you up with health-plans but then frankly can't get them scheduled because they are over-booked. Go elsewhere.

I tried making appointment today they told me nothing available for a month for a new puppy. I feel that’s terrible for a new client with a puppy. I felt the person on the phone was not very friendly at all or helpful very disappointing when this vet came highly recommended from a friend. I give it no stars if I could.

I used to drive my cats almost 2 hours away to see a certain vet, because I’m THAT picky when it comes to my cats. I recently adopted a new kitten and wanted to try a new vet for convenience, I absolutely love everything about it here. We like to see Dr Levy but all of the doctors and staff we have met are wonderful. I can tell they really care about my cat and they are always very excited to see her. Most importantly- even my cat loves it here! She is always excited when she sees where we are. I really appreciate that the day after a big appointment they always call to check in on the cat as

I could not say enough good things about Madison Veterinary Hospital. We have seen all of the vets at this practice throughout the years and have always had wonderful care. The doctors at this office are very invested in their clients and very thorough in their care. Dr. Marszalec is so dedicated, she always returns calls personally, even late after a long day. We have had to take our pet to a specialist and Dr. Marszalec stays up with every report, lab and issue that comes up and has guided us and coordinated the process the whole way. It really shows how much she and the entire staff cares, I

I have always been happy with the staff and treatment at Madison Veterinary Hospital, which is why I've chosen to continue to take my dog there when I live almost a half hour away. However, last night when I had to put down my best friend, I received an experience above and beyond any expectations I had from talking with other people about their experiences elsewhere. I will forever be grateful to the staff for their amazing treatment of my precious Sassy girl, as well as that of my daughter and myself. I never could have imagined such a comfortable, peaceful, and personal touch to an otherwise

Words cannot describe how compassionate the staff here is, our older dog was needing to be put down and was suffering but we could not find a place that could take him in same day. When I called madison vet they found a way to get me in. The service, care, treatment of our dog and my family was outstanding. I honestly wish I could give more stars. Keep up the good work!
