If this is an emergency, or your pet is in pain or injured, or you need an appointment today please call our office. We will schedule your appointment with the doctor that has seen your pet in the past unless you select the doctor you would like your pet to see.*
Your pet's health is always our number one priority, which is why for most pets we recommend annual wellness exams to ensure that your animal companion remains in good health. If your pet is a senior-over seven for dogs, over nine for cats-we strongly suggest twice-yearly exams and blood screenings.
Imagine if you never brushed your teeth or had them cleaned. Pretty frightening, right? As you can imagine, things would eventually start to go very, very bad inside your mouth: teeth would rot and decay, gums would become inflamed and infected. We have been a customer of Gassow for 32 years. We moved out of the area to Saline, and continued to return to Gassow. My dog is aging and is having a lot of issues. So we tried to make an appointment to get him in, but they were booked. They told my husband to call at 8 AM to see if there is a cancelation that we could get him in at. So he did, and a 1:15 opened. So my husband left work early from the Airport, to Saline to pick up our dog, and drove out to Gassow. He was 15 minutes late for the appointment, and they refused to see Buddy, because they didn't want to inconvenience anyone else because

I will NEVER bring my dog here again. I took my dog in for treatment, and I tested positive for COVID days later. The vet didn't have on a mask and nor did the staff. When I called, the manager basically said "what do you want me to do about it". Just no care at all whatsoever. If you care about your animals, think twice about going here. They dont… believe that animals can contract covid. They don't believe in testing their staff or social distancing. And claim to be abiding by CDC Guidlines, but animals can in fact catch any virus from us humans. She was very passive aggressive toward

My daughters cat had to be put to sleep and we did the drive up. She is 19 but this was her first pet to put down alone and she said the staff was amazing!!
They made her and lily very comfortable and gave my daughter nothing but kind words, they even squeezed her in because they knew how important this was.
They also in the past helped with a cut eye on my dog and it felt like they were NOT there just to take my money but to help the pet.
Worth the wait and they didn’t leave a hole in my pocket!

Dr. Wright and all of the staff were absolutely wonderful. This was the first vet that didn’t push me out of the room, he took his time and treated me and my boy life family. You can clearly see his love for his profession, I highly highly recommend this place!!!

Cannot say thank you enough, Gasow. This was the only vet in the area that would see our dog who had a sudden growth appear, we called eight other vets and were told they could see him in 3 months. Gasow not only got to him that same day but had his surgery scheduled the next day to remove it. We were given estimates throughout the process and they did phenomenal work to help our dog. They go above and beyond for their patients

We have a total of 6 kitties ranging in ages from 5 years to 15 years old. 2 Beautiful 9 year old dogs and now shockingly enough a teacup apple faced chihuahua /mix lil Mama's lil Biscuit! Anyhoo they all… love the care they receive and now we have this special brokenhearted abused lil guy who didn't start out good being born with 2 both rear knees not connected to the bones.. 😔 He also has a Spiro fracture on his left wrist which makes his paw abs leg look like more like a seal than a dog 🐾... So it's wonderful to know that his Veterinarian practice, Gasow Veterinary Hospital

I couldn’t get an appointment with my regular veterinarian and was recommended to check out Gasow. Very happy that I did. The staff and the veterinarian were kind, friendly and very professional. I can honestly say that the Veterinarian was one of the best I have ever met. She was just so good with my dog and extremely knowledgeable. I am so thankful for finding this place and would highly recommend this clinic.

Called on 6/26 during business hours. Left a message on their answering machine to schedule an appointment. I never received a response so I tried to schedule an appointment using their website contact form. Still no response. Lastly, on June 23rd I ordered flea medicine using the promotion they sent via email. As of July 16th no vet has approved the refill so my cat will soon be without needed medicine. Very disappointing experience.

I had an emergency with my dog Remi, and we were recommended this vet from Berkeley animal Hospital, and they were amazing. The price did not break the bank, the staff were all helpful and super sweet and the vet who checked her was amazing. I felt very comfortable and will definitely be switching here for everything from now on.
