Services
Maryland Farm Bureau is a private, non-profit membership organization. It is completely controlled by its members through the democratic process and is financed by voluntary membership dues. Its strength comes from the active participation of over 26,000 member families that belong to the state's 23 county Farm Bureaus.
The Young Farmers program includes both men and women between the ages of 18-35. The objective of the program is to provide leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau to preserve our individual freedoms and expand our opportunities in agriculture. The Women's Leadership program engages women with the training and education they need to become powerful advocates for today's agriculture.
The strength of Maryland Farm Bureau comes from members who unite to speak out on issues of concern. Active action alerts and the opportunity to engage with legislators about issues affecting you, your family, and your way of life will be available on our Action Center. For this year's legislative session, we've created a Bill briefings document that reviews the House and Senate Bills that MDFB either supports or opposes.
