Bobbie Ann's Dance Studio has been providing professional dance lessons in Cecil County, Maryland for seventy years. We offer weekly classes at various skill levels in ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, baton, lyrical, modern, contemporary and musical theater for both children and adults.
The goal of our studio is simple: to promote confidence in the student through the art of dance. We stress individualized attention (classes average between 8 to 14 students) and the discipline and commitment required to meet this goal. Our teachers are the most professional in the tri-state area. Our studio is a family-oriented, comfortable environment, free of intimidation.

Each day I dedicate my work and creativity to my mother. Without her talent, artistic vision, and true beauty none of this would have ever become our reality. Her belief in daydreaming and the magic of entertainment have laid the foundation for our studio. She has opened a door for these children that otherwise would have laid unknown, and shown them into a world of fantasy and glamour.

My family has been taking lessons at Bobbie Ann’s for 32 years! Not only do they teach technique through a variety of dance genres (tap, ballet, hip-hoo, lyrical, etc), they also offer a musical theater program! The instructors are professional and encouraging! There are classes for all age groups! I highly recommend joining the BADS family!

BADS is truly a family oriented studio. They give students of all ages the opportunity to Shine. Myself and many members of my family have been a part of this amazing studio for many years. If you are looking for a studio that is small in size and offers personalized attention this is the place for you. Students have the opportunity to meet lifelong friends and perform in various venues in the area. I would highly recommend BADS to dancers of all ages and abilities.

So happy it’s almost dance season again! Going back to the studio to register for classes for my son and daughter felt like going home. We were new to the area last year and we’ve definitely found our ‘dance family.’ Susie and Anna welcomed my children as one of their own from day one! When we registered again for this upcoming season, the kids were so happy to see their dance friends again and are really looking forward to classes. If the kids are always happy to go to their lessons, you know you’ve found the right place!

This Dance Studio seemed to be the perfect one for my daughter, our first conversation on the phone over a year ago went so well and they were so pleasant even tho they were away in Vegas when they took my call. They said they would mail me all the info that August (never received anything) That was great customer service at first!!....
Sadly since then between myself & my sister in law we've tried to contact them various ways about 14 times and have been unsuccessful!! Even leaving a post on their Facebook page which they've actively been posting on!.. I dont normally write reviews or bad ones

This past year was my 5 year old’s first year at Bobbie Ann’s after 2 years at another studio. She absolutely loved it! The teachers truly love their students and take the time to get to know them. They are a perfect combination of being nurturing and encouraging, yet still uphold some tough love with high expectations, even for the youngest studio dancers. I also appreciate that for the little kids they offer combo classes where the kids are introduced to ballet, tap, jazz, acrobats, and twirling.
