I'm a real person and you don't want to read about me all day, so this is just a lil' taste of who I am. The basics: I'm a wife to my husband Paul, a human mom to my baby Eli, and a dog mom to my goldendoodle Westley. I started my photography business when a friend asked me to take her engagement photos.
You definitely could set up your tripod or have a friend snap some photos with their iphone. No judgement here. But there's something to be said about quality, high resolution, edited images and working with someone who knows how to get you to do your REAL laugh. Here's a little breakdown of my most popular services.

Elopements get a lot of flack. But with the pandemic, larger weddings have become almost impossible and we're all looking for ways to get married that still FEEL as big and important as large weddings. Let me say it again - elopements aren't a consolation prize. Just because you're not having a big wedding, doesn't make your wedding any less meaningful or valuable.
My husband and I had a just because/for fun photo session with Steph and we had SO.MUCH.FUN! Steph is such a sweet and kind soul with a great sense of humor. Our whole experience with her from start to finish was so great. We met up with Steph just outside of Palm Springs. Her communication before our session was so great, she helped us figure out what to wear and asked us what our favorite drink was.

I have no clue what has taken me this long to write this review! Steph took "newborn" photos of our daughter at 4 months old (pandemic baby!) My daughter is now almost two and we treasure our photos even more as time goes on. Steph is truly masterful at her craft. She is so easy going and does a fantastic job at helping her clients relax and making them comfortable. Steph is able to truly capture the essence of a family- this is where her real magic happens! She really sees the small, detailed, heartfelt, fleeting moments and captures them as they happen, many of which you don't even realize took

We absolutely LOVED our experience with Steph as our wedding photographer. We spent a good amount of time searching for the right photographer, as we were hoping for a natural/candid look, photos that aren't "washed out", and photos that capture the beauty and uniqueness of our outdoor venue by the beach, and let me tell you... she was IT. Steph was everything and more that we could have hoped for. She not only took incredible photos that captured every moment so perfectly, but she also helped us with so many things- from suggestions with planning, timelines, etc. to just being an open and comfortable

Stephanie did an engagement shoot for us and the pictures turned out sooooo amazing! We had a great time taking the pictures and we are normally super uncomfortable taking pictures with other photographers but Stephanie made us both feel at ease and was a lot of fun. I love her style and has a great way of capturing people but also the beautiful environment. Thank you for our pictures, we will treasure them for a lifetime!

Steph is an amazaing photographer and artist. She did such a phenomenal job with our family/anniversary photos. From the moment we met her she was so friendly, easy going, and made us feel at ease. She went over and above from the very beginning... offering to hold all of our belongings as we trudged through the sand, connecting with us and making sure she captured all of the shots we wanted, capturing/entertaining our 2 year old beautifully, and snapping extra shots at the end of our time--simply because we were having so much fun. Wow, where to begin. Steph is hands down the photographer you want by your side at your event. With COVID happening like so many other couples, we had to postpone our wedding. Steph was so warm, understanding and flexible working with us to reschedule the date. On our wedding date, we felt so comfortable with Steph and she made taking photos (for someone who generally hates photos) so fun and natural. There have been few moments in my life where I've felt instantaneous connection with someone. Stephanie is one of those people. Her personality, presence, and affect radiate joy in the most authentic way, and it's because of who she is that both my fiancé and I had the time of our lives at our engagement shoot.

Stephanie is THE best photographer (and person) ever!!! She was our wedding photographer last month and we couldn't be more grateful for her amazing work. My husband and I were in San Diego when an option to book Stephanie for an impromptu couples' photoshoot became possible. Stephanie and I were quickly in communication about an option for a location and we chose Balboa Park. She was able to take such great photos in the midst of huge crowds that were so focused on us.
