Do you feel a lack of vitality? Do you want to deepen in your passion? To begin experiencing yourself is to enter a doorway to a fuller, more peaceful life. You can feel more connected to yourself and others and the fabric of life. In my practice, I merge psychotherapy and Eastern wisdom, cultivating an integrated healing experience.

The approach is collaborative, supportive, loving, non-judgmental, and directive, based on your own personal needs. This approach allows us to develop a therapeutic alliance that promotes safety and connection. I integrate approaches depending on your unique needs and point of view, and I often hear and witness significant changes in people's lives.
Services
My experience and education prepared me to guide people toward more meaningful intimacy and love with themselves and other. With almost fifteen years of experience as a private practice clinician, I specialize in relational issues and psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, and attachment.
I specialize in working with adults, adolescents and couples. I address a wide range of concerns, most commonly including: intimate relationships, anxiety, depression, self-criticism, and life purpose. Whether it is your relationship with yourself, partner, or co-worker, a willingness to explore your own experience is a way to deepen your connection with your most authentic self.
When looking for a psychotherapist in Boulder it is often so easy to get inundated with jargon, theories, and vague promises. There are so many options out there that it is hard to separate the signal from the noise. What Tamra Sattler offers cuts through all of the "industry speak" and strikes at the heart of therapeutic healing - connection.

Do not recommend. Professionally and ethically corrupt. In a time where I was vulnerable and not in a good place - you rely on a professional who you seek out and ask for help to provide you ethically sound, morally grounded advice. Every person I've told my story to, has the exact same response...."how could she have given you THAT advice...what was she doing, it's so ethically and professionally WRONG".
Use someone else. Do not use Tamra.

Tamra helped me when I was in a very bad place. My life has basically done a 180 since I first saw her. She helped me find my own strength and courage. She never told me what to do, but helped me discover what I really wanted and how to get where I wanted to be. Thanks to Tamra, my dark night of the soul became a meaningful journey of self-discovery and I'm doing better than I have in many years. I'm so grateful for her compassion, insight, and encouragement!

I began working with Tamra about 3 years ago when I was working through some significant difficulties in my marriage. Tamra offers an amazing, judgment free space, where I can focus on myself and my feelings. I knew immediately that she was the right therapist for me as I responded to her questions with thoughts and she continually ask how I felt. Tamra is warm, engaged, and caring and provides a safe space where exploration is encouraged. She has been integral to my life over the past 3 years and I have grown exponentially because of our work together. I am so grateful for the time and work

Tamra is a modern day magickian. I was a bit skeptical of her approach when I began seeing her in San Francisco. That said, her mix of modern day cognitive behavioral therapy and eastern philosophy make her a modern day successor to Carl Jung.

On the practical side, Tamra was able to unlock the type of happiness we all dream about for myself and my family. On the more spiritual side, Tamra was able to begin my journey to find answers the big questions such as 'why are we here?' and 'what does all of this mean'.

I've always thought of myself as a good man. Whether

After trying out a few other therapists in San Francisco, I found Tamra in 2010 and I've been seeing her regularly ever since. I always look forward to my sessions with Tamra when I can clear my mind, verbalize my thoughts, and receive her insightful feedback. Working with Tamra has helped increase my self-confidence and emotional awareness. She has also helped me view my relationships with others more clearly. Tamra inspired me to integrate more healthy behaviors into my lifestyle which have nurtured my spiritual growth. I'm so thankful to have Tamra in my life and would highly recommend
