We are close to world class events that occur in the Hayward Lakes Area of Northern Wisconsin. My husband, our three year old and I stayed at the Riverside Motel in room 1 which faces the beautiful lake. The room had a king bed, sofa, table and chairs and made us feel very homey. The motel is conveniently located close to the Hayward town center; we walked there to visit the little shops and coffee cafe.
What a nice cozy room conveniently located near the center of Hayward. Our room was super clean and warm with ample space to hang out all of our cold, wet clothes to dry. I come up to Hayward from the Twin Cities to ski the Birkie trail over the past New Year's weekends. Found a great deal on a room at the Riverside Motel.

Our room rates are seasonal, and range from $75.00 to $254.00 per night, plus tax, for up to two person occupancy. For additional persons, there is a charge of $ 6.00 per night. If an extra bed is needed in a motel room, the additional person charge is $15.00 per night, plus tax. Up to two children under 10 years of age may stay free with an adult.
The Riverside Motel is conveniently located in Hayward, Wisconsin on ATV/Snowmobile Trail #31, and only minutes away from the world famous American Birkebeiner Cross Country Ski Trail. Hayward offers Shopping and Recreation, Top-Rated Restaurants, World Class Events, Festivals and Craft Shows, Golf Courses, Hiking, Biking, Cross Country Ski Trails and World Class Finishing & Hunting and all within a few minutes of The Riverside Motel.
We do not allow grilling in front of our rooms or on our balconies/patio out of consideration for other guests. You can grill at the nearby Hayward Beach and Park, or at Mallards' Landing picnic bench. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM. If you arrive later than 10:00 PM please give our office a call.

Extremely rude sprinkled with poor customer service. The man who answered the phone was argumentative and clearly his only interest was money, not the customer! Do not stay here! There are other great hotels in this area who value customers!! We didnt even make it to the hotel and they were very intolerable and rude I could only imagine how it would be to stay there!! Besides the rooms look musty just like his attitude.

My family and I just spent 3 nights at this wonderful motel. The owner was so nice and welcoming. The motel has nice quiet rooms, a beautiful fire pit, a very relaxing lounge space on the water, as well as a great fishing dock. Also the location is wonderful, about 2 mins from lots of things to see, visit, or get great food from.

What a gem. In town for a wedding and didn’t want to stay in one of the Chain Hotels and found Riverside Motel. Very glad we did. We had a riverside room which allowed us to enjoy a deck right at rivers edge. Room was very clean! Beds and plenty of pillows were comfortable. Best of all is location. Walk to downtown or the Big Fish.

Was an excellent choice for a memorial day weekend getaway! Beautiful view, very clean and comfortable room. The service was great and every need was met. The town was very idyllic and there was plenty to see and do. Will try and come back for Musky fest this month. Would definitely recommend staying at the Riverside Motel if you are considering staying in Hayward WI.
