My name is Lerida and I started NY CAKE POPS in 2009. I was born in Mexico and came to NYC in 2003 for an internship in a Museum. I ended up staying for love. After working at the Guggenheim Museum for several years, I am now married and a full time mommy.
I started making cake pops for my kids birthdays and celebrations in my tiny NYC kitchen, with the feedback I started receiving from friends and their friends, I decided to offer my cake pop designs and flavors to the public.As orders started to get bigger, I need it a bigger kitchen and found on as part of Hot Bread Kitchen Incubator program in East Harlem and with only word of mouth and social media, my business is thriving.

Will my order arrive fresh? Even if you place an order months in advance, we don't make any cake pops until the day you request to guarantee freshness. How should I store my cake pops? If you manage not to eat them all, you can keep at room temperature, refrigerator or freezer. Do cake pops contain nuts?

I ordered a dozen cake pops. Half of the order was damaged. There was no cushioning around the pops which allowed them to roll around. I feel that it could’ve been packaged carefully with cushioning around each individual pop.
They tasted good and the appearance of an unbroken pop was cute.
I would not order from here again unless it’s in person or they start packaging their product with better care.
