In 2017, Assured Bio became the first lab in the United States to be accredited by the AIHA for DNA analysis of mold and bacteria, and in 2020, the first AIHA accredited for analyzing the SARS-CoV-2 virus in both air and surfaces using RNA analysis.With the use of DNA, Culture, and Microscopy analysis, our lab can provide Presence/Absence or Quantitative Results to identify mold, bacteria, and viruses.

Assured Bio provides assistance in complying with the environmental sampling requirements addressed in U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) <797> Pharmaceutical Compounding-Sterile Preparations. USP <797> applies to health care institutions, pharmacies, physicians practice facilities, and other facilities in which compound sterile preparations (CSP) are prepared, stored, and dispensed.

My interactions and research collaborations with Assured Bio have been very rewarding and productive.
