Your first visit to this orthodontic office is an exciting time! From the moment you walk in our doors, you will sense the difference. This first meeting will be a lovely opportunity for us to become more acquainted, and for you to discover which treatment may or may not be appropriate for your given needs.
Our goal at Minahan Orthodontics is to make orthodontic treatment attainable for everyone. As a matter of convenience to patients, Dr. Minahan also offers an automatic draft from checking accounts or credit cards. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care in as seamless a manner possible for our family of clients!

It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.
You know how important it is to brush and floss properly when you're wearing braces - but what's the best way to do that? Let's start with the basic brushing tools: Either a soft-bristle brush or a bi-level brush (one that has shorter bristles in the middle and longer bristles at the edges) can be effective.

Our third child is preparing for his orthodontic experience and we wouldn't trust anyone other than Dr. Lara Minahan. Dr. Minahan was recommended to us by our family members with rave reviews! From the moment you come in and are greeted by Rhonda who runs the office, and sit in the beautiful spa-like waiting room, that is calm and reassuring, to when you first meet Dr. M, you’ll realize you are in the right place and will be taken care of in the best way.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend Minahan Orthodontics! I have had a great experience on getting my braces, and expander, and ALL those kind of appliances. I don't think I could have a better orthodontist than Dr. Minahan! Dr. Minahan and Rhonda are a great team to give everyone the best service and teeth! They're really kind to your teeth and you! From the moment I walked into the office I knew it would be a wonderful experience! Dr. Minahan was completely open about everything she considered doing and all of the possible outcomes. At the age of 66 I made the decision to have my bottom teeth straightened and working with Dr. Minahan has been as wonderful as the outcome. I would recommend her to anyone from 8 - 80 who truly cares about their smile! I am proof that it is never too late!!!

She has a very competent assistant, Ronda, who handled all the insurance details upfront and throughout so there were no surprises cost-wise. Appointments were always on time. The office is extremely clean and with the latest equipment and technology.
I would not hesitate to recommend Minahan Orthodontics. She did a fabulous job with my son, and I plan to return if my daughter needs any

I highly recommend Dr Minihan. She takes the time to evaluate your situation and explains your options. She also considers all sorts of factors - life style, age, treatment goals, how wisdom teeth might influence results, etc. For example, we waited to start until my daughter was in her last growth spurt = jaw bone lengthening. This resulted in a shorter treatment period. My daughter is now in college and someone asked if her teeth were fake because they were so perfect. When you are there, you feel like her only patient.
