Orthodontic Specialization: While many dental professionals may offer some kinds of orthodontic treatment, our office consists of a certified orthodontic specialist, Dr. Eduardo A. Avila. Certification requires all the training general dentists need, plus several years of post-graduate training in orthodontics.
It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, and most major credit cards. We also offer low- and no-interest financing options through our office as well as the CareCredit system.
Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you've always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure that your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible.
Brushing properly for at least two minutes, twice a day will ensure a bright, healthy smile when your braces are removed. If you need help choosing the right toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss, please ask us and we can help you choose the right products for your teeth and your appliance. Use a toothbrush with soft bristles and a small strip of fluoride toothpaste.
Orthodontics (also referred to as dentofacial orthopedics) is a specialized form of dentistry focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial abnormalities. An orthodontist is a dental specialist who has received two to three years of additional training and experience. Your orthodontist is able to straighten teeth, correct misaligned jaw structure, and improve the function of your smile.

Dr Avila and his team are super caring and very professional. It took me longer than we thought because of covid and my teeth refusing to move at one point, but I have never been rushed or advised something unnecessary. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone big or small.

The staff are amazing and very kind, very calming, especially when you first get your braces on. The team does a wonderful job of helping you through your orthodontic journey by answering all, if any questions you may have with great detail. They are also very safe and protective with covid-19. We’ve been patients of Sublime Smiles for just about five years now and they have been fantastic. Dr. Avila and his entire staff are always friendly and enjoyable to deal with. No matter how busy they are - they get you in and out yet you never feel rushed or neglected. Dr. Avila always takes the time to explain and make sure we all know what’s going on. I was referred by my SIL and everything she told me about her experience with Dr. Avila and his amazing staff was true. From the time they greet you to the time you leave, customer service is on point. What is most important is that Dr. Avila and his staff are here to give you the smile that you want. They make sure you are satisfied with your smile before they let you go. All my questions and concerns are always answered during each appointment leaving my mind at ease.

Dr. Avila threw a temper tantrum at me in the office, falsely accused me of a bunch of stuff, and then banned me. He at least refunded me though.
The reason for our conflict was that the retainers he made for me were not exactly what I’d requested. First, he tried to make excuses as to why they weren’t the way I’d asked. Then he tried to claim that he never agreed to make such retainers for in the first place. He said that our emails would reflect this. When I asked that he review our emails, he really lost it.
He provided decent service for years up to this point, but the way things ended

Amazing doctor with a great team! I'm halfway through my program and am very happy with the results. From the start Dr. Avila's focus was to make sure I was happy with my program and he has been true to his word thus far. They even went out of the way to remove my brackets prior to my wedding just so we can have better pictures. Dr. Avila was out sick on the day he was supposed to remove my brackets, but was able to secure an appointment with Dr. Perez-West downstairs the same day to take care of the issue since I was flying out of town the next day. Dr. Avila and his Assistants are amazing! Every time I go see them there is always so much progress on my teeth. I am extremely happy with their services, very professional and kind.
I'm on my late 20's and I decided to get braces probably not on the best time because since I got the braces, I graduated, got engaged, and I'm about to get married.. (everything happened in one year).
This was not easy for me because obviously you will have plenty of memorable pictures of those special events. I was very anxious, stressed and so conscious about the braces and gaps that I had in between
