The Business Department has recently provided additional information on the tax levy process. Members of the Glenbrook South Engineering Club spent some of their summer gaining real-world experience by building a robotic arm for the American manufacturing company Belden. Learn how the experience is educating our students for the future.

Glenbrook North senior Kyle MacDonald shares how his passion for football and the performing arts have made an impact during his time at the Glenbrooks. During the summer of 2021, District 225 subscribed to a new tool called ThoughtExchange, which is used to gather anonymous feedback on important topics.
Services
There are two critical deadlines this fall established by the Illinois State Board of Elections. All four vacancies are for 4-year terms (full terms) and will expire in 2025. Members are elected to represent the voices and opinions of the community and set the policies of the district. They are unpaid volunteers who serve 4-year, staggered terms.
The Glenbrooks seek to attract, hire and retain the highest quality staff to educate our students. We currently employ more than 750 certified, support and administrative staff, in addition to the many coaches, sponsors and volunteers who also partner with District 225 to help to provide an exceptional educational experience.
Glenbrook High Schools depend on the efforts of a great number of qualified, conscientious people to achieve excellence in instruction. Our Glenbrook Substitute program and its substitute teachers are vital to this effort. District 225 strives to maintain an adequate number of qualified substitutes for service.
To be considered for a student teaching/clinical experience placement in one of the Glenbrook High Schools, please ask the student teacher coordinator at your university to contact the District 225 Human Resources office. It is important that you contact us as far in advance as possible of your requested student teaching date.
Glenbrook High School District 225, commonly referred to as the Glenbrooks, offers a public education to approximately 5,000 students in Glenview, Northbrook and portions of unincorporated Northfield Township. Located just 25 miles north of Chicago in a suburban setting, Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools have reputation for offering students an excellent, high-quality, well-rounded educational experience.
