Ive been renting from Liezel from formerly Lux... Now its Apex rentals. I've been renting from her for a few years. Everything was great...until we rented one of her 6 bedroom homes. The home advertised that there were 7 TVs. Yes, there were 7 TVs but only 2 worked. Liezel did give me a $500 credit towards my next rental. I had to chase her to close the deal. There was always something wrong w/the home..TV didnt work, hot tub was broken etc. Liezel doesn't returns calls. It was very stressful renting from her not knowing if u got the home or not. Who needs that when ur trying to rent

We stayed in one of the luxury homes in August 2012 and our experience was wonderful! the house is beautiful -EXACTLY as it looks on line, and Liezel was so nice! As often as I bugged her she was always friendly and available to answer all of my questions. We stayed in the Toppewetah home - loved it, only thing I would say is the back yard could use some landscaping - too many sticks and too rocky for the kids to play out back other than that it was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with very nice quality utensils, dishes and cookware, and even when we arrived a little earlier than expected

OMG! My parents rented the home on Turnback Trail in South Lake Tahoe on the weekend of the 10th in August. This wasn't for any random family vacation, my brother was getting married. We had a few out of town guest staying with our immediate family. Though the house was nicely built it is obviously poorly maintained. Upon arrival I took off my shoes as well as my three childrens, partly because this is standard practice in our own home. The upstairs was all hard surface( hardwood) and the entry way was slate. I noticed some spots felt grimy under foot so i had the kids put their shoes

We rented one of their listings from South Lake Tahoe area. The house was beautiful and well equipped. Like other reviews, they got me on the edge tried to get the key code. We were supposed to check in on Friday and I didn't get the code till Thursday night. However, they let us check in 2 hours earlier than their regular check in time, 4 PM. After we checked in, the kitchen stove didn't turn on. When we call them, we were told we had to use a regular lighter. We took our own initiative to troubleshoot this issue because we thought circuit breaker might have been tripped. As we have

The previous post similarly echoes my experience with Lux Vacation Homes. We rented a home in South Lake Tahoe for one full week. The day we arrived, we had no idea how we were going to get in the house. We had sent emails and left voice messages with them the day before and the morning of, but no response. Luckily, somebody did call us back, just as we were arriving into Tahoe. Second, the house was beautiful, however it clearly needed maintenance - the fire alarm chirped all week, one of the bathroom facets was in operable until my husband cleaned the filter on it, the dishwasher was broken

It takes a lot for me to give a negative review, but this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I rented a home thru Lux Vacation Homes for 4 days last month and the ad made the house sound spectacular, well that was definitely not the case. The house may have been large, but there were a number of issues while we were there. The house is 3 levels and there are a lot of stairs. Not only did the elevator not work, but neither did the stove unless you used a lighter. It was pretty scaring considering the flame came at you every time you lit it. There were holes in the bedspreads and huge
