Pat Pattison, Mike and Glen's father, founded Two Day Auto Paint and Body Shop in Austin, Texas in1972. Pat Pattison was born and grew up in Los Angles, California. Pat grew up repairing vehicles and he opened his first collision repair shop in Los Angels California in 1959. In 1972, Pat decided leave the busy city life of LA and moved his wife and six children to Austin, Texas.
Texas insurance Code states that automobile insurance companies may not specify, "the brand, type, kind, age, vendor, supplier, or condition of the parts or products that may be used to repair the vehicle".
