Editing/updating my review: was very happy with my first purchase but only 2 years later, I'm needing a new one. What I thought was being helpful was really them trying to push a poor quality product out the door and then refusing returns or exchanges "due to covid" but not stating that anywhere on the site or paper work. She suggested I buy a topper which is the same price or more for the cost of the mattress. I would have just bought a better quality mattress to begin with(this is less than 24 hours after purchasing). I'm so disappointed with this store. Will never shop here again and I don't

I am embarrassed to say how old our mattress was but we were finally replacing it and wasn’t sure where to go (there is no shortage of choices). Austin Discount Mattress is a nice local shop. Reasonable prices and absolutely no pressure, they greeted us listened to what we needed and told us what they had that might fit our needs and budget. . . No high pressure sales. We were told to take our time and try lots of mattresses. We selected one they had it stock and they delivered it the same afternoon! Couldn’t be happier with the purchase, price and service.

I've brought mattresses from this location twice. And both times I was very happy. The prices are amazing and the mattresses are great. They even delivered the same day I purchased and at a time that worked perfectly for me. You can buy online if you cant make it to the store also. Monica was great and has an amazing personality. We didnt feel pressured to buy and she was knowledgeable about the mattresses. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place

I’d give this place 4.5 stars if I could. My family & I came to get a king mattress for my Brother. It’s not a huge place, mattress selection isn’t that grand, but like I mentioned it’s not the biggest place. Monica was extremely friendly and down to earth. Loved her bubbly personality. We ended up getting him a king sized mattress for a little over $600. You can’t beat that price! Went there 10/16 before closing and the mattress came the next day. I took off .5 stars because the mattress came with 2 scuffs, nothing more than a centimeter. However, it did come off with a little stain

This was the first store we checked out after arriving in Austin, and I am so glad we didn't waste our time anywhere else. After explaining the type of mattress I normally like, Mike directed us perfectly to a quality mattress that was even on sale! Such a deal that the price included both mattress and box spring. Mike was incredibly helpful in tying the bed on the top of our car and answering all of our questions... he knows how to do customer service right! Definitely recommend this shop :)

I heard about Austin Discount Mattress from a friend who highly recommended it. I bought a mattress, box spring, metal frame and a mattress protector for a very affordable price!
Monica helped me with everything and she couldn’t have been nicer! The delivery was same-day and the driver was polite and quick. Everything looked great!

We saw the cheaper prices online and decided to check out Austin Discount Mattress. Monica and Lee were very helpful in selecting the right mattress for us, and they were personable without being overbearing while we tried the mattresses and made a decision. Monica came out and helped us move the mattress and tied it to the truck very securely (we were legitimately impressed by those knots lol). We had a great experience, got a great value! Would recommend if you need a mattress.
