Tosch Dental first opened its doors in 1984 out of a small space in Benicia's Brick Power House Building. In these early days, Dr. Tosch, and wife Cindy, supported their growing Dental Practice by running a Dental Lab catering to many other dental offices in the area. As more people began to visit Dr. Tosch's dental chair, the business became less of a lab-and more of a traditional family dental practice.
We have been blessed with a highly reliable and capable staff-most of which have been with us for over 10 years. Having long-term team members has allowed us to adapt and grow alongside the families in our community. Dr. Tosch's goal has always been aimed at not only serving the community-but being a part of it.

A comprehensive evaluation of oral health. This includes reviewing x-rays, physically assessing the condition of the oral cavity, and an open discussion with the patient regarding symptoms, concerns and treatment options.

Heading out to Portugal tomorrow AM and what happens today? I chip my front lower tooth!!! OMG it is sharp and I am freaking out that I will have it that way the whole trip. I called Dr. Tosch's office and while their schedule was packed they said to come immediately and I might have to wait for them to work me in but they were so supportive. I was there in 20 mins and out in 15 mins. If that is not fast and dedicated service nothing is!! His staff knew me by name and once again they exceeded all my expectations and kept me from having to try out a Portuguese Dentist on my trip!!! Thanks

I had the worst anxiety toward anything dental related after a bad experience as a kid. I have gone to many different offices for first time patient appointments and never followed through with treatment. When I went to doctor Tosch I had wisdom teeth to be pulled, two root canals that needed to be done, a oversized filling that needed to be reconstructed, and several cavities I neglected out of fear. I went through a series of fantastic dental work in a short period of time. I was always happy to return to the dentistry. I am so excited about the work that has been done. They're always flexible

Dr Tosch and his staff are the best !!!
I have been going there for years, and extremely happy with their care .
However, today the doctor topped himself !!! I have been suffering what I thought was mouth thrush for over two months . I used a prescription of Nystatin (mouth rinse ) for a month - now using a prescription antibiotic for a month, and no success . Went to primary doctor / who did recommend I go to my dentist - however she did set up an appointment with ENT doctor when the Nystatin didn't work, after second prescription for it . The ENT prescribed the antibiotic- also commented

Dr. Tosch and his team are simply put, the most kind and professional dentistry I have ever been to. My entire family of 5 (me, wife, 3 kids) have been coming here for close to 10 years now and we would never EVER think of going anywhere else. When it comes to our teeth and oral health there has to be a level of flexibility and care that goes along with the whole picture. Over the past year, Dr. Tosch and everyone at Tosch Dental have helped me achieve the goals I wanted to meet. They've helped me get the smile I always dreamed of. Dr. Tosch has been my dentist for many, many years since the early 80s when he first opened his practice in Benicia. Although I have moved several times, I always come back to Tosch Dental because of their caring and professional services. (Oddly, the doctor looks the same as he did in the early eighties.) Good News- His work is high quality and his staff is very cordial and helpful.
Bad News - One needs to be very careful of extra surprise billing charges. I told Dr. Tosch that I must be aware of charges not covered by insurance(Delta) up front. (1) Several years ago I got a charge for an extra routine exam that was not covered by insurance; I brought this to his attention, he removed the charge. (2) About 6 months ago he had to re-attach a crown he installed a few years ago. I said your work should be guaranteed, in protest I paid

I went to this dental office for the first time today and had a GREAT experience. Everyone was kind and professional, and even educational. Who knew there was a right way and wrong way to use an electric toothbrush? Perhaps everyone except me! At any rate, I was schooled on flossing, brushing and on teeth whitening. I really appreciate that they do great work AND try to help you do a great job taking care of your teeth yourself between visits. This may sound elementary, but I've been to dental offices where such advice and instruction is not so freely given (as evidenced by my ebrush

My family and I have been with Dr. Tosch for almost 18 years. Dr. Tosch has always provided excellent dental care as has my regular hygienist, Diane. When you walk into the office, you are always greeted by name and always made to feel welcome. A few years ago we had a dental emergency on a Sunday morning. Within half an hour of placing the call, Dr. Tosch and his daughter, Michelle, were in the office repairing my daughter's broken front tooth. My daughter was very nervous but they both put her at ease and she was extremely grateful to be able to show her smile again!

Dr. Tosch, his family and staff are amazing!! They are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My 4 yr old daughter recently started going to Dr. Tosch, and both my wife and my daughter couldn't stop raving about the office design, office staff and service. On 5/23, after chipping a front tooth for the 3rd time, I decided to change it up and see what they could do.
They were able to accommodate a short notice to get me in. Both the staff and Dr. Tosch were great. My front tooth feels stronger than ever. And their costs for services are much more reasonable then many I have experienced. That's also important to me since we don't have dental insurance.

Dr Tosch is an excellent dentist as well as a super nice guy. I've been seeing him for about 20 years. He is great at making me feel relaxed in the chair, to the point that he occasionally has to pause his work while I laugh at his jokes. Whenever I see him, I get the feeling he truly cares about my dental health, as he often inquires about my hygiene practices and suggests areas of improvement. His whole staff is very friendly and the office has a very family-like atmosphere. It's always a pleasant experience to visit him.

A friend of my recommended Dr. Tosch. I was not looking forward to this appointment thinking I needed a root canal. My appointment was at 1:50 I got there a little knowing i would have paperwork to fill out. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The office was spotless and had a real homie feeling. I had to get xrays to see where my pain was coming from. When Dr. Tosch came into the room he shook my hand and I was immediately put at ease. He couldn't tell with the xrays exactly where the pain was so he gave me and exam and found it was in my tooth that had a crown. Dr. Tosch suggested

I signed up for yelp just to write this review. I have been going to see Dr. Tosch for many years. I am sad to say that I have moved and he is too far to see now. I did not realize what an amazing doctor he was until I had left and experienced others. (I knew he was good, but I didn't realize how good!)
