We provide detox and inpatient treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. We are not a hospital-setting facility; we provide a healing environment so you can focus on your recovery away from any stresses or triggers. Midwest Detox is here to help you get clean, begin to find hope in recovery, and start building a life after addiction.

In our residential treatment program, we'll design a treatment program for you to help you get started in your recovery. Long-term, meaningful sobriety is possible. Out treatment programs are rooted in our holistic, multidisciplinary approach. Our team, drawing from a wealth of education and personal experience, will implement and adapt the plan as you heal.
Services
By all accounts, substance abuse has reached epic proportions in America. The Center on Addiction indicates that more than 40 million Americans struggle with addiction. That's a startling one in every seven: more than the numbers that suffer from heart disease, diabetes, or cancer. And the Department of Health and Human Services has declared the opioid crisis a public health emergency.
Why does our staff care so much? It's because many of them have been in your shoes. Many of our staff are in recovery and know first-hand the joy you will experience when you break your dependence on drugs and alcohol. My three biggest loves are my family, my job, and of course some entertainment! My beautiful fiancee, Monica, my 7-year-old son, Jackson, and our two puppies mean the world to me.
The Midwest Detox Center is an inpatient addiction treatment facility. At Midwest Detox, we treat patients with substance abuse issues who require medical detoxification as the first step on their road to recovery. Since we aren't a "lock-up" treatment center or a hospital, one of our primary concerns is making sure our patients feel comfortable in our addiction recovery center.
The Frontlines is a place for anyone and everyone who is looking for information about the drug epidemic, addiction, recovery and beyond. You can find stories of hope, strength and healing from people who have been where you are, information about different 12-step programs, the latest news about addiction and recovery, and answers to all your questions.
Amatus Recovery Centers is offering $750,000 worth of scholarships to African American people struggling with addiction. This will fund all levels of care, from detox through outpatient treatment. African American people face barriers to quality treatment. One study found that white people with Opioid Use Disorder are nearly 35 times more likely to receive buprenorphine, a medication that curbs cravings and can prevent overdose.

This place is an absolute disgrace. The techs all the way to the uppermost management are HORRIBLE and self involved. This place will take your credentials and threaten to drop you at the nearest bus stop. They mess with your mind to the point you CANNOT differentiate day and night unless you are fortunate enough to get an outside on a smoke break. There are several issues that need to be addressed. I have called and attempted to file grievances and I have YET to hear from anyone there. If you’re reading this you should truly help take action against this place and help those who see this facility

There is no routine or structure. You stay in a room all day… there is a kitchen w some food you make yourself. There is catering on some days. I wasn’t able to get one of my psych medications while I was there and that left me feeling even worse. I felt lost in the shuffle and very confused about the program… I also felt misled because they take all your make up and toiletries, you have to use their soap shampoo and conditioner. I would not recommend going here if you are new to detox or recovery.
Also they made it impossible to use the phone. You get one 5 min phone call they have you

My loved one was at this facility for multiple weeks. Everything from admissions (even with Covid) was quick, easy and we always had help through the whole process. I was in constant contact with Lisa (case mang) and JD for any questions, concerns and updates on treatment/discharge plan. Staff members were always patient and understanding with all my questions.
My loved one said facility was clean, enjoyed the staff and found the groups informative and helpful.
Post discharge, staff members (Dani) have contacted both myself and my loved one to check in, follow up and offer any continuing help

Midwest has always been very accommodating for my son. Staff goes above and beyond for their clients and the families of their clients whether present or past. I Highly recommend them if you are looking for top notch care for your loved one who has decided to want to seek help.

Would never recommend, extremely rude therapists and supervisors. They also keep you completely out of the loop of your loved one and will make decisions for them. Pretty scary theyre allowed to function like this.

Staff is very knowledgeable and kind-hearted to both their clients and family members of their clients. Kaley shows a lot of empathy and really makes you feel like you’re not in this alone. I am grateful to have been able to find guidance and compassion through this organization. Thank you.

Only leaving a review to hopefully help people who may be turned off by the very few negative reviews this place has. I’ve found these people have unrealistic expectations for treatment.
I am an alcoholic who checked into this facility at one of the lowest moments of my life about 8 months ago . I had just dealt with a fiancée cutting off an engagement and leaving and a DUI. This place provided me with help to this day I use to monitor my use if it happens and maintain a sober lifestyle. I was incredibly impressed with the staff, facility, and nursing staff. I also felt compelled to mention
