My name is Tommy Gordon, and I am the owner here at Per4mance Auto. My family has almost 100 years of experience in the retail automotive business and it has been our pleasure serving thousands of customers in the Greater Baltimore area.
My family's legacy in the automotive business began in 1919 when my grandfather, Lionel Kaplan, founded his first Dodge dealership. My father, Herb Gordon, later went on to found Herb Gordon Auto World in Silver Spring in 1971. Personally, I have been proud to work in the industry since 1982. Per4mance Auto Service Center provides brake, tire, engine, transmission, a/c, coolant, exhaust, and suspension services to the Jessup, MD area. BUYER BEWARE (It looks as though we are not the only one with a similar problem).
To keep this simple and without emotion, I will summarize our purchase:
- 14 months since purchase (the vehicle is officially 'dead')
- $10,000+ : What we paid for our family of five.
- $13,000+ : In REPAIRS
- $9,500: The final estimate the Toyota dealership gave us to replace the engine and basically 'start over'.
Our issues began *days* after the 90 day warranty. To quote the dealerships reply: "You're problem. Not ours."
We have cases open with the Attorney General&apos

Very impressed. Very nice selection of high end vehicles. Unfortunately didn't have exactly what I was looking for but was told that they'd get it and contact me. Meet with owner Tommy Gordon. I meet him, his brother and father years ago. Good family. Looking forward to doing business with Tommy in the near future.

Personable Service. Instead of aimlessly looking and test driving cars first, Terry, assessed my situation and identified cars that fit my needs and budget. This was very refreshing as I have never experienced such personalized customer service.
My salesman, Don, was amazing as well. He's an expert in his field with great communication skills. He wasn't pushy or arrogant, he was very consistent
