Winery 101 is a family owned and operated tasting room in Peoria, AZ and Cottonwood. Come in to taste our family of wines and get to know our family. During any weekend wine down, you will likely be served by the owners themselves, or their family members. Wine makers and Owners, Irlyn and Gavin started making wines in 2008.
They now have over 20 wine varietals and two lines of wine. Gallifant Cellars wines are single varietal, exceptionally handcrafted with a taste of the Old World. SouthPaw Cellars (given the name because they are both left handed) are blends with a flare for fun and all that Arizona has to offer!

Services
The original Location of Winery 101, and one of the largest tasting rooms in the state. Located just minutes north of the University of Phoenix Stadium, Tanger Outlets and Park West. Our Industrial, open floor plan, lends to socializing with family and friends. The newly renovated loft provides an intimate venue for meetings, parties, and special events.
Our Peoria and Cottonwood locations are open Sunday-Thursday from 12pm-7pm and Friday-Saturday from 12pm-9pm. We purchase grapes from local family owned vineyards throughout Kingman, Arizona as well as Cochise and Graham Counties in Southeast Arizona, which are about 3 1/2 hours from Peoria. What is the difference between the Gallifant Cellars label and the South Paw Cellars label?
Our unique loft in Peoria, Arizona features an industrial chic, open concept, that will make your next event fun and unforgettable. Our versatile space is perfect for intimate celebrations to evening cocktail events. Vintage inspired light fixtures add to the ambiance and suit any occasion. The tables are perfect for cocktail reception events or a sit-down dinner.
We are currently looking for support in our Peoria and Cottonwood Tasting Rooms! This position is responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience at Winery 101. The candidate must have a passion for wine and for learning the details of the wines we produce and our general operations.

Terrible service. The bartender was drunk, and didnt acknowledge us, finally came over to our table after we went up to him, took our order and forgot about us. There were only 8 customers in the entire place. Definitely would not come back to this place. Glad the bartender was hammered and enjoying himself at least.

I took my mom and aunt here on a Saturday afternoon, and we had the best time. The service was excellent and the wine was delicious. We each had a different wine flight, so it was fun trying each wine. At the end of our visit, they had someone playing live music which was really nice too. I'll definitely be back!

Took a friend visiting from Texas, we had a blast! Thank you to Taylor who was not only a fantastic server but she took the time to explain wine and we were able to learn a bit. As we tried the flights I was able to quickly discover what I enjoy and was able to take a few bottles of our favorites home with us! (We ended up with a glass and free flight) I look forward to returning!

Was looking for a wine bar in my area and ran across this hidden gem.... I'd rate it a 10+ if yelp would let me.... The place is amazing.... The wines are grown in Arizona and are among the "BEST" I've ever had. The atmosphere is very nice. Vince, my man serving these wonderful wines, was amazing. I threw my wife's grad party upstairs. Easily accommodated my guests, 40 or so, the wine tender was fantastic, and management staff was attentive. They gave us plenty of time to decorate, presented a personalized menu that my wife picked out ahead of time. We were able to bring our own desserts in and purchased a couple meat trays from Winery 101, all authentic and local meats, cheeses and produce. Moreover, the prices were very competitive and convenient.

I cannot wait to go back to this place. I attended it with my partner at the end of a motorcycle ride and it was just perfect. The place was empty but we were there around 2 pm so we beat the rush. We each ordered a flight and the person on charge at the time walked us through each wine perfectly. It did not feel stuffy at all, we were able to have a conversation about everything we drank and even discuss other wineries in AZ. I cannot wait to go back and get more! The Poolside Pink 2012 was by far my favorite.
