Services
On your initial visit, for which there is no charge and which may last half a day or more, we will discuss what it is you desire in the way of a custom home or equestrian structure and go over any drawings, photos, or architectural plans you may already have in hand.

Even a napkin sketch or notes can suffice, though some clients will come to us with a 3-ring binder packed with photos from home magazines showing design features they particularly like. We'll also try to answer questions you may have regarding your budget, the project's location, and any particulars of construction and the materials you might select.
When we relocated to Colorado Springs from Nevada, we faced some major homebuilding challenges. Having had a bad prior experience building a home in Austin, Texas, John and I were determined to find a builder for our retirement home in Manitou Springs that would not only build us a home of high quality but also be reasonable, honest, and a joy to work with.

If you are thinking of having Petra Homes build your house, DONT DO IT!!! I cannot stress this enough. We purchased one of their beautiful "Looking" custom homes in 2004 only to begin experiencing problems 6 months later. When we finally figured out what was wrong with the house which took about 3 years, we were past the statute of limitations to sue the builder. We had to do $160,000 worth of structural repairs to a home we bought for $752k. Mark wouldn't take our calls or come out to the house to help us when we were simply trying to figure out what was going on. The soil and engineering reports
