Service was the best we have had in a long time! Great service by two bar tenders Jessica and Jaime. Happy hour till 6 on a Saturday wow!! Food is always delicious. Hummus app was huge with pita and begged and the best hot sauce!!! Plenty of vegges!!! Tried the grouper and chicken tender sandwich on pretzel bun for the first time and both were savory!

One of my favorite Westlake discoveries so far! Stopped here one night when looking for dinner and have been back at least 5 times now! Their French onion soup was some of the best I've ever had - you need to try it!!
There is ample parking as AJ's is located in a plaza with a ton of other shops. The wait staff has always been so kind and one of the reasons we love coming here. If you are looking for a switch up from your regular food scene, I highly recommend coming here!

The food was great! Hot, fresh, tasty... their crispy fries are delicious!
The service? Not so much. She forgot my brother's salad and brought it out AFTER his meal... with no dressing. He had finished his main course by the time sheer remember to bring it. No apology.
She filled everyone else's drink but mine even though my glass was empty and she was using a pitcher (we all had the same drink). Again, no apology.

Very solid and consistent . Both AJ's and their other restaurant Stonehouse pump out consistently good grub. My kids get the southwest wrap and I can't them to try anything else! Took a bite during our last visit and I understand why. Can't find many flaws. Service is great and to go food holds up. More reviews to come ... trying to work through the menu

Man oh man!! What an awesome establishment this is! Im ashamed that I've lived in Westlake a year and a half and just got around to trying this place. Amazing food.... have had several sandwiches, steak, beef on weck, brisket etc. and all were perfectly cooked and delicious!! Our bartender Jamie was a total rockstar.... served the entire bar area without an empty glass in sight, cleaned, restocked, ran food, and literally didnt stop moving the whole time we were there. Super friendly, professional and attentive.... top notch service! This place is spotlessly clean inside and out...

Good food. Good service. How have I never been here before? Brought the kiddos and they ate all of their food. I had the Original Steak Sub and against my better judgement, ate the entire thing. Spouse had the fish fry special and also devoured it. This place is on our short list of favorites in the West Side suburbs.

I visited this restaurant because I was waiting for my hair appointment in the area. There was only 2 people eating probably because it was early in the evening and I waited at the host stand for about 10 mins before someone came to seat me. I went to the bar to order a drink and there I waited. I didn't mind because I had time to kill but like I said there was only 2 people in the restaurant there to eat and the staff seemed uninterested. I ordered a drink & if it wasn't for the drink I would of gave this place 1 star, drink was great. 1/2 way through my drink the waiter gives me

Stayed at the double tree in Westlake and AJs had great reviews so we ordered take out thanks to covid-19 we didn't eat inside. That said the food was phenomenal, the service was great and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Jeff's who was super friendly. Would definitely recommend stopping at AJ's and getting the pretzel chicken.

We were looking for a decent happy hour food specials place. Of course, only I ordered off the happy hour menu - spinach and artichoke flatbread as well as the portobello caprese plate. Both were tasty. I could have done with just one or the other but the waitress didn't indicate such. Hubby had the burger that came with fries which he liked well enough.

Decided to stop here with my wife and two boys while in the area and have to say beyond surprised. My seven year old got the chicken risotto and he loved it. I got the pretzel crusted chicken and all I can say is wow, my wife got the pork chop and it basically melted in your mouth. Everything was full of flavor, cooked beautifully and seasoned just right. We only eat at locally owned places and AJs is now in our top 5. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

It's been since November of 2015 that we have had dinner at AJ's! Came in last Friday! Seemed like there was a whole new crew there on Fridays!
I will say, PERFECT service! Servers name was Jamie! She was A M A Z I N G! Personable, funny, intelligent, and so on top of everything! She is truly someone to keep around! A complete asset to a restaurant!
