Lisa greets all patients with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. You may call her with office related questions or concerns. She has several years of experience with scheduling appointments, insurance benefits and other service related concerns. She stays up to date with ever changing insurance coverage criteria.
K is a board certified Internist and Certified Diabetes Educator who strongly believes in the "food as medicine" philosophy of Hippocrates. She did her residency in Internal Medicine at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey. Prior to that she did a year of residency in Psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.
We bring the power of 20 years of experience in internal medicine, interlaced with compassion, a desire to help, and with an understanding that it sometimes takes more than a medical history or an annual exam to bring about lifestyle changes. We enhance the lives of our patients by offering evidence-based, comprehensive and compassionate care.
We are glad to offer secure video visits. While we love to see you in person in our office, we understand that it is not always convenient to do so. Video visits allow you to receive the same quality care as you do in the office, in the comfort of your home, and without taking time off from work or finding a sitter.
Our lifestyle management program empowers you to manage your weight, health problems and habits by incorporating diet, exercise, stress and sleep management goals within your daily schedule. Your first visit will be a history and physical exam with the doctor. This will include weight and BMI measurements, and discussion on health problems and habits.

I found this doctor on Zocdoc and after several visits it’s as if she forgot her business is Primary Care. My first visit went okay. I did a regular physical. But after that any time I checked in with the doctor she gave me attitude each & every time. She gave me attitude when it came to me requesting doctors notes for my job. Today was my official last straw with this doctor. I’ll definitely be taking my health care some where else. The assistant Lisa is very nice & that’s all I have nice to say about this office.

Dr K and her staff are wonderful. Dr K is very flexible , accommodating and informative. I first join the Optifast Partial diet plan, but after a few weeks on the diet , I realize it was not a fit for me , so she recommended the 3-4-5 mindful nutrition diet plan, which it has workout for me 100% . I love the 2 hour weekly group discussion, the yoga and breakfast. I highly recommend DR K ( and her staff) , and her mindful approach to weight loss.

The 3-4-5 Mindful Nutrition Program is excellent if you want to eat healthy and lose weight. I look forward to our 2-hour weekly group discussions including yoga, cooking lesson and a delicious healthy breakfast.
Dr. K and her staff are wonderful and really care about you. I have lost weight every week since I started and I'm still eating real food.

Dr. K’s mediation class taught by Erin Sheehan has truly been life changing! I walked into the class two years ago with an open mind and an open heart. Never in my wildest dreams did I think two years later I’d still be showing up every Wednesday at 6:30pm. It’s a very laidback setting with a variety of meditations; silent, guided, soothing sounds and we always have an open discussion discussing tons of different relevant topics. Meditation has helped me with my anxiety and stress. Every class I always take at least one valuable thing with me to incorporate in my day to day life. I’m filled

Dr. K and her nutrition program are really good. I have seen great results from the guidance provided in combination with an exercise routine. I really enjoy the weekly meetings where we share our experiences, get support, learn tips and tricks and new delicious recipes we can incorporate in our home cooking menus, eat amazing food and enjoy an hour of yoga relaxation. Would definitely recommend Dr. K and her staff!

I came to Dr. K after many months of frustration trying to lose weight. She started me on the Optifast program and it has worked extremely well! Easy to follow and effective. I also appreciate her holistic approach of providing mindfulness meditation and cooking classes, each of which contributes to the success of the program. Highly recommended.

I loved my first visit. She took the time to ask me all of the questions about my family health history, gave great nutritional recommendations, and provided other relevant information. I didn't feel rushed as I usually feel with other doctors. She even saw me on a Saturday half an hour before my scheduled appointment. I have arrived a bit too early.
Will highly recommend her to friends and family!

Dr. K is lovely and was very patient with my fear of getting blood drawn. She talked to me to keep me calm the whole time! I love the concept she is working toward.
That said, in order to get a full cholesterol panel (when high cholesterol and heart disease run in my family), I had to bring in published articles about cholesterol research before she would ask for the test for me. Also, her routine blood test did not include C reactive protein or anything else to measure inflammation, which I thought was unusual.
