We are a small, local, family owned and operated six room motel and lake house. The Wild Waves property is located on the shore of Lake Erie on approx 2 1/2 acres of shaded, maintained yard and a private beach. We are lodging close to Cedar Point, the Lake Erie Islands, quaint neighboring towns, local marinas and the best fishing on Lake Erie.
We have ample parking and we welcome fishermen and fisherwomen! Each spacious guest room has two double beds with fresh linens, full sized bathtub and a private bathroom. We have supplied all of the dishes, pots and pans, dish towels, glasses, silverware, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, washer and dryer.

Our family had our 96 year old Dad's Celebration of Life at the Wild Waves compound. We discovered the property in January while it was under several feet of snow, and closed. We made arrangements on the phone with Cindy to reserve all 6 motel rooms, the pavilion and the attached 3 BR house.
The motel rooms:
Each had something different to offer. All were very large. All had fridge, microwave, full size drip coffee maker and 2 queen size beds. Room 2 had a kitchenette and room 6 has a sliding glass door with a small patio and view of the sunset. We were there in the very beginning

This motel is in a good location and does have good beach access, however, the day we were there the entire day we could not use the beach access that we paid good money for because they were pouring concrete the entire day. I wish they would have notified me of that so we could have made arrangements to stay elsewhere. We stayed in room 5, upon entering it does have a strong odor of mold or mildew. There is a nice size refrigerator and microwave but no coffee pot or hair dryer. They supplied lots of towels and bar soap but no shampoo. There were no batteries in the remote control (we went to Dollar

Loved it so much, booked another night. Bug free, comfy beds, the room is way bigger than I thought and adorable! Room was quiet didn’t hear anything from the neighbors. Love the space, fridge, microwave, affordable. Beach is right on the back, had a beautiful view. Have found my family spot for summer time!

This was exactly what my family was looking for. Quiet, economical, on the lake, & a nice beach. We were more than pleased. Knowing that economy was a priority, I was anxious - but we loved it here! The private beach is amazing, and the HUGE yard/property was beautiful. A fire pit and a pile of wood was even available for our use, along with plenty of lawn/beach chairs. This is a traditional "motel" (Not hotel) setup, but with only 6 units, it felt more private, and with much cleaner and larger rooms than normal, and homey accoutrements, not to mention a full size refrigerator, which
