Award winning, made from scratch sweet dough, hand rolled with raisins and cinnamon topped with walnuts. Some say these are second only to our cream donuts with our raspberry or strawberry fruit filling rolled in cinnamon sugar. Traditional cake donut iced with your favorite chocolate or vanilla dip and drizzled with rainbow sprinkles for the perfect finishing touch.
Kohler's Bakery is pleased to continue to offer call ahead pick up ordering. Please stop in or call 609-967-3694 in advance during business hours to place your order for day ahead ordering. Day of ordering will be available at times depending on availability of in store products. Prepaid and unpaid orders made in advance will take advantage of our no wait in line option at our side Ramp Door.
WOW! SO many delicious options! Been going here for years now. We've loved everything we've gotten there, but the cream donuts, sticky buns, and crumb cake are our favorites. Their round loaf and snowflake rolls are also out of this world. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This is a definite gem at the shore!

Overrated! For starters, customer service was atrocious, with very rude employees! The cream in the donuts was a sugary white cream, similar to Duncan Donuts - - and NOT butter cream, as advertised. The size of the donut was another disappointment - - half the size of a normal donut! Not sure what all the hype is - - we definitely will not return!

Best doughnuts in the world. Been eating them for 25 years now and they are still #1. Everything they make is good. Check out their Instagram whenever you are planning to go as they usually update with any random closings and they are mostly open during the summer season. I can’t wait for next year!

The cream donuts are the absolute best! I look forward to Saturdays when I grab a dozen for my office and set aside two for myself. Each bite is a taste of happiness! The vanilla buttercream cake is hands down the best I've ever tasted and the cookies are jammed packed with sweetness. The staff is always friendly and using the pre-ordering system is a game changer! Kohlers should be on your list of places to visit in Avalon

I just discovered Kohler's this summer and only recently due to a recommendation by a friend. Well, I am LOCKED IN!! It may literally be one of the BEST bakeries EVER......from the appearance of the products, the organization of the staff, the packaging of the goods, the AMAZING friendliness of the entire staff, and of course the DELICIOUSNESS of ANYthing you eat there!!! I am incredibly impressed! And a customer forever. Today is their last day open for 2020 and it was handled very well.. ...long lines that move fast and efficiently and a staff that never tires of being friendly and calm

The best mornings are Kohler's mornings...the staff is unfailingly polite, the creme donuts are AMAZING, as are the crumb buns, the crullers, the regular donuts....you get the point, right? One of the last true "family" bakeries around, and we hope they continue to thrive for years to come! Each and every year, they are consistently 100% top notch!

Kohler's is always our spot for baked goods down the shore. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the difference. I personally love the cinnamon buns with nuts and raisins. All of the employees are very helpful and I have always had good experiences in the store. Really the perfect shore bakery!

Kohler's Bakery in Avalon is 70 years old this year. This is one of the Jersey Shore's favorite bakeries and many summer vacationers patronize here especially in the morning hours. To be honest, it is not at all my favorite shore bake shop and I have never found one item that I would rate at the very top of any pastries I ever tasted. But still - their sticky buns are quite tasty and their crumb buns (or crumb cake) as it is called here is crumbly enough. The cream filled doughnut I had had lots of the cream on the outside which I am not sure is their style or was a mistake. It was

BEST cream doughnuts and cinnamon twists at the jersey shore! My kids wait all winter for Memorial Day weekend and opening weekend at Kohler's! Enjoy waiting in line with friends and catching up over coffee. The line is always out the door and down the block by 8am. Staff is always friendly and professional.

I was introduced to Kohler's by my wife the first year I came down to the Avalon / Stone Harbor area. With 13 years of coming here annually on these trips, I have no question why people have been coming here for as long as they can remember.
The donuts here are made fresh daily, and you can always expect a line first thing in the morning if you come when they open. My personal favorite is still the cream donuts, but there really isn't anything here that is bad.

The price to taste ratio here is amazing. For just a buck, you can get a killer cream donut that'll send you into sugar heaven.
On our second trip here, I opted for the raspberry filled donut and it was the perfect balance of sweet and doughy.
Try a few things, then come back and get repeats of your favorites. We never experienced more than a few minutes of waiting, but I've heard there can get to be a pretty long line.
